I like the look of this. If this is what I imagine it to be, it'll be a very nice addition to gameplay and immersion.

Well I can technically download this now even though I got it from Steam because they have an opt-in 1.83 version :P

Yeah, but not everyone wants to do that, and the GoG 1.83 still has bugs. :p

Does the Venator from this shipyard have different fighters compared to the regular Imperial version?

In the picture, the Advent Fleet has a Venator and a couple of Dreadnaughts, and a few squads of what seems to be either X-wings or Z-95s and Y-wings or the Clone Wars-era predecessors. So it likely won't be carrying Imperial fighters.

Lurker is spot on. They have Z-95s and Y-wings, in the same configuration the pirates currently use.

Awwwwwwww yeaaaahhhhhhhh I want an entire fleet of those! though funny enough you posted this screenshot when I did a Galaxy forge map where I played the Alliance but gave myself a few Venators and Acclamators to go along side my Providences and Dreadnaughts. It's like in my mind I predicted this lol.

However is this modernization dock how you are going introduce more Clone War era ships? I can't remember if you said the Lucrehulk class but I know you said something about the Munificent.

As you can see, any neutral structure only has room for three spawning abilities. There won't be any new Clone Wars ships introduced in this patch, but even if they were, they'd need to be included in a different way.

Modernization Dock class II? XP though I think maybe non-aligned worlds should have either a Lucrehulk or Providence protecting them for that little added difficulty, or maybe at specific types of rebel planets only. Since Non-Aligned worlds and Rogue Imperial worlds although have a small fleet around them they offer no challenge taking. Since they have no ships equal to capital ship strength.

Description

There's been a few posts lately complaining about us not releasing an update while waiting for the official 1.83 release. Yes, it is frustrating, but please understand we are still working on features for the mod, which means when 1.83 does come out, you will actually get some content far earlier than you otherwise would have (since the next major release is still a ways off).

Take for example this little teaser. I won't say exactly what it is, but I think there is enough clues to figure it out. And it is something that's been asked for, as well as planned, for a long time!

So please look on the bright side and enjoy all the stuff you would have had to wait until Beta 1 (AKA the New Republic patch) to enjoy. :-D
