Here's where i explain why i suggest the ships that were not mentioned in your planned ship in SINS FORUM..

For improving future gameplay and variations of unique Star Wars series mod.. I'll be splitting this suggestion into Imperial, Rebel Alliance and SINS factions version of Star Wars Universe..

Imperial Faction

1. I suggest 3 options related Imperial factions regarding Venator-class usage or possible replacement..

1st Part is keep Imperial Venator-class but change one of it's abilities, Expanded Squadron into one that deploys massive assault fighter squadron according to the level added or upgrade Strike Swarm to be able to temporarily reinforce all ships that carry strike craft to fill it's missing rank for a brief of time... In other words when using Strike Swarm ability, all owned imperial ships that carry fighters gain strike craft build instant ability for a short time..

2nd Part is replace current Imperial Venator-class with larger version of Secutor-class which has lesser armor and shields than Imperial-I Star Destroyer but carries 8 squadron with the option of increasing it to 12 squadron via special ability but it's ability also adds 1 extra strike craft per level, making it 4 total increase to any current starfighter squad.. be it TIE Fighter, TIE Bomber of Missile & Bomb variants and have access to TIE Interceptor unlike current Imperial Venator-class

--- Common ability that could be shared or enhanced are it's Battle Coordination and Expanded Squadron..

3rd Part is Imperial Remnant would still use Imperial Venator-class due to it's cheaper cost while Secutor-class Star Destroyer replaces Venator-class which only accessible via special research to unlock it's access.. The reason is the warlords don't care much about it's cost if it gives better benefit in battle.. Similar to System Redesign Research part...

2. The reason i suggest addition of Praetor Mark-II class Battlecruiser instead of either Procursator-class or Praetor-class because Praetor-class were supposedly destroyed before Battle of Hoth and Praetor Mark II saw actions in 4 ABY at Moorja System although it got destroyed but there's no source that Praetor Mark II were completely destroyed so it could considered..

My ideas is either add it's smaller Praetor Mark II as Imperial Remnant Flagships in Flagship Victory Mode or add it's larger Praetor Mark II Battlecruiser as 2nd choice to currently existed Bellator-class Star Dreadnought as it were 800 meters longer than Bellator-class..

Due to this advantage, Imperial Remnant's Council Of Moff research access now adds access to build Praetor Mark II at 1st part and 2nd part given authority to deploy 2nd Super Star Destroyer which can only deploy either Bellator-class or Praetor Mark II or both simultaneously depends on the mission profile..

Example: If player/AI deploys Darth Vader Executor at first then 2nd deployment will be either allow Bellator-class SSD or Praetor Mark II..

Bellator-class are weak against larger ships like Executor-class, Mediator-class, Viscount-class, SINS faction's Titan but capable of fending off medium-size assault fleet with some cap ship support while Praetor Mark II Battlecruiser could be categorized as anti-tank version of capital ship or so-called juggernaut battleship which are weak against fleets of fast moving cruisers or smaller ships and fighters but capable on surviving against 5 or more heavy capital warship specialized on assault like SINS Trader Marza Dreadnought & Kol Battleship, Advent Radiance & Discord Battleship and Vasari Kortul Devastator and Vulkoras Desolator.. It can also hold it's own against 5 Imperial-II Star Destroyers or any Rebel Cap Ships with high percentage of chance to defeat them all and come out alive.....

Larger Praetor Mark II most likely need support like cruiser carriers, Venator-class or Secutor-class or any capitalships that have at least 5 squadron at max level to survive against fleets which has fighter superiority like Advent and Rebel Alliance in Interregnum as it has no hangar bay installed. It could be seen as 4800 meters sized Tector-class Destroyer version...

If planned as Praetor Mark II using 5km size, it should be accessible via capital factory but if you guys plan on limiting it's use, i suggest making a 8km size variants of Star Battlecruiser buildable at Star Dreadnought Yard..

3. Why i suggest using Allegiance-class as Warlords Flagships in Flagship Victory Mode is because it's a symbol of heavy firepower capable of defeating anyone standing on it's way in one on one battle.. Although it might be weaker than Praetor-class Battlecruiser in size and armor it has better maneuverability than Praetor-class and possibly as heavily armed firepower if not more..

4. Regarding to adding Planet Byss as Imperial Fortress World which foresaw some of Empire's biggest ship construction, when anyone plan on taking Planet Byss, there's a bigger pro and con than the one seen in Kuat Planet & Mon Cala Planet.. It also have Neutral benefit...

--- Pro Part is it has it's own capturable shipyard similar to Kuat Drive Yard but it gives player the choice to build either Sovereign-class or Eclipse-class Super Star Destroyer as Assertor-class and Vengeance-class SSD are not buildable but appeared in it's planetary defense... It's downside are only 1 of it can be built once for a whole gameplay until scuttled or destroyed.. Once destroyed, it cannot regain it's lost level due to it's top-secret warship only seen limited actions.. Next is it gives extra 5000 planet health, extra 2 star base, extra 12 logistic & 40 tactical structure while also gives extra 100 mines to add into it's defense plus it has build-on planetary shields which gives it 25% bombardment damage reduction from enemy's surface assault..

--- Neutral Part is it has shipyards which gives access to build Imperial capital ships not buildable through factions play like Allegiance-class, smaller Praetor Mark II-class, Secutor-class (if Venator remains current choice) and 1 advanced assault cruisers which i don't know it's name yet.. Much similar to Modernization Dock but Imperial version and only holds powerful buildable ship which are also has limited deployment as it require it's cap ships all require 1 fleet command and 100 fleet supply..

--- Con Part is player or AI has to face against 1 Assertor-class, 1 Vengeance-class or 1 Sovereign-class and 2 Bellator-class Super Star Destroyer, random Allegiance-class Battlecruiser, smaller Praetor-class Mark II Battlecruiser (5km size), Imperial I & II type, 2 Tector-class or Secutor-class & 2 Interdictor-class in a total of 16 capital ships mixed, 50 assault cruisers & frigates mixed, 3 heavily upgraded Jovan-class Star Base & 1 fully upgraded Cardan-class Star Base which inaccessible to build and in total of 20 advanced Golan III Platform which twice over current Golan III firepower, holds 4 squadron with access to TIE Interceptor & Defender, added concussion missile and single Dual Ion Cannon.. It's stats are almost tripled as the current Golan III..

5. Some of Imperial Remnant and Imperial Warlords require specific research addition and alterations to current one using it.. I suggest making these part as Interregnum minimod which i named it Imperial Specialist Minimod

Hello Nikzzz,

I know you've been sending me a lot of very long feedback about specific about the mod, and I do appreciate that. However, I must admit I have a hard time following your train of thought much of the time in these longer posts.

I do see you seem to be suggesting adding the Secutor and Praetor Mrk II, however I am well aware of these ships and do not believe they are a good fit for the mod or worth adding at this time. Admittedly I really do not like the design of the Secutor class ships, so some of that might be my personal preference, but the ship is also rather big for a capitalship and too small to be a titan.

Likewise the Praetor is also too big to even be a flagship (it would be bigger than even HomeOne), but also too small to be a titan.

I believe I discussed the Assertor and Sovereign with you before, neither are likely to be implemented due to being too similar to the Executor and Eclipse.

I SUGGEST YOU ADD IT SOMEDAY ALONG WITH PLANET BYSS WHICH IS BASICALLY STAR WARS STRONGEST IMPERIAL FORTRESS AND ALSO MOST HIDDEN FROM ANY OTHER IMPERIAL PLANETS BASED ON LEGENDS AND CANONS....

I ALSO HOPE TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IMPERIAL VENATOR-CLASS AND RECOMMISSIONED VENATOR AS IT SEEMS NO DIFFERENT AT ALL EXCEPT FIGHTER UNITS.. IT'S KINDA BORING YOU KNOW..........

PALPATINE MANAGED TO FOOL THE SENATE ABOUT SUCH SHIPS WHICH SAYS THAT IT ONLY 8KM SIZE BUT ACTUALLY 19KM.. ALSO IT WAS NAMED SUPER STAR DESTROYER BUT RENAMED EXECUTOR-CLASS..

I DON'T SUGGEST MAKING IT MASS PRODUCED VERSION VIA CAPITAL FACTORY BUT ONLY ACCESSIBLE VIA CAPTURABLE SHIPYARD AT PLANET BYSS....

HENCE REASON MAKING PRAETOR MARK II AS IMPERIAL REMNANT FLAGSHIP WHICH ONLY USABLE IF PLAYING FLAGSHIP VICTORY...

AT LEAST ONE OF IT WILL DO... EITHER MAKE IT BUILDABLE AT BYSS SHIPYARD LOCATED AT PLANET BYSS (IMPERIAL FORTRESS AT DEEP CORE) OR MAKE IT AS FLAGSHIPS WHICH ONLY SEEN IN FLAGSHIP VICTORY GAMEPLAY..


ALSO YOU AND YOUR TEAM COULD MAKE IT AS A SPECIAL IMPERIAL MINIMOD WHICH ALLOWS CERTAIN ADDITION OF SHIPS NOT MENTIONED IN MOVIES OR ENHANCEMENTS TO CERTAIN ASPECTS LIKE BUFFED ABILITIES AND ETC... I'M NOT GONNA PUT TOO MUCH THOUGH INTO IT...

ONCE AGAIN, HAVE YOU PLANNED ON WHAT SHIPS YOU ADD TO MON CALA SHIPYARD IF NOT MC75 PROFUNDITY AND PROTOTYPE VISCOUNT-CLASS BATTLECRUISER (5KM IN GAME/8KM IN LEGENDS)....

IF NOT POSSIBLE ON ONE OF THOSE, I SUGGEST ADD BULWARK MARK III BATTLECRUISER BUILDABLE AT MON CALA SHIPYARD IF YOU CAN'T ADD IT AS REBEL ALLIANCE'S SECONDARY EXPENSIVE TITAN TO CHOOSE..
