Is there a known way to do research without button-clicks?

Is there a known way to do artefacts NOT using explore, but rather activating a specific artefact through scripting?

Not really no. You can use the dev.exe to give you all research and artifacts instantly, but that's about it.

Been looking for a way to make research auto-complete when the pre-requisites are fulfilled, but can't. Was wondering if accessing artifacts might be a backup.

Button clicks on research appear hardcoded.
