I have been trying to figure out this minor fractions update lately but as it turns out I don't even know how to get my Neruda to deploy an embassy. It just says abilities disabled in red. Anyone able to point me in the right direction? |

Try leaving the gravity well. After an embassy is deployed, envoy abilities are disabled until they go to a new planet to prevent them from building multiple embassies while on auto cast. |

Yeah I might be an idiot. I was under the impression that you could recruit any minor faction to your side. Looking at the DLC page there is a chart seems to imply that only certain factions can recruit a specific group. I was trying to recruit one of the HTS aligned groups as TEC. |

Yeah, make sure its really a minor faction by clicking on the planet. If you see abilities, it must be a minor faction you can ally with. If not, its just a owned "militia planet". Sadly the game does not distinguish between these different types of NPC factions, even in vanilla. |
