Dark Empire Medium Map addon - Star Wars: Interregnum mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion

Since Interregnum Beta 2.5, a number of people have asked if the Dark Empire could be playable outside the special Campaign missions. While we don't plan to officially support that feature due to balance concerns, it is relatively simple to make your own maps that can let you play as the Dark Empire.

As an example, this is a map generated by loading a Medium Random map in the galaxy forge, and with the Dark Empire being forced assign to Player 1. This will let player 1 play as the Dark Empire without any special campaign mechanics. Look at the .Galaxy file in notepad to see how we accomplished this for Player 1, and you can make your own maps in Galaxy Forge.

I initially wanted to make this a true random map, but unfortunately our trick to get Dark Empire playable did not work in fully random maps. So this was the next best thing.

To install this map, simply place it in the "My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\GalaxyForge" folder.
