Just like STO. Romulans love asteroids.

Their wretched hulls drift there for hundreds years.

Description

The Shadow-class warbird is a test bed for the Romulan Star Empire's most advanced, most secret and most devastating technology. Indeed, the Shadow's very existence has been a closely guarded secret until recently. Even now, most members of the Romulan Senate are not 'officially' aware of the Shadow's place in the Romulan fleet.

None have mastered quantum singularities like the Romulans. Not only do their larger vessels use them as near-inexhaustible sources of power, the Romulans have also weaponised these anomalies. With a burst from its weapons banks the Shadow can hurl forth an artificially generated singularity that can manifest in the middle of enemy formations. The intense gravitational pull can drag enemy vessels out of formation, while powerful gravimetric shear can place enormous strain on their hulls.

The Shadow also specialises in the Romulan art of misdirection. Highly advanced holographic emitters line the Shadow's hull which, should the Shadow come under attack, can project both the image and energy signatures of a wing of cruisers coming to the Shadow's aid. These phantoms have proven extremely effective at drawing fire away from the Shadow, and from other, real Romulan warships.

With the most advanced technology in the Empire at its disposal, the Shadow is one of the Imperial Navy's deadliest warbirds.
