Star Trek: Armada III begins with the first stirrings of the Dominion War and allows players to take command of five unique factions, the United Federation of Planets, the Klingon Empire, the Romulan Star Empire, the Cardassian Union/Dominion Alliance, and the Borg Collective. Explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly go where no one has gone before.
"We're alone in an uncharted part of the galaxy. We have already made some friends here, and some enemies. We have no idea of the dangers we're going to face, but one thing is clear. Both crews are going to have to work together if we're to survive. That's why Commander Chakotay and I have agreed that this should be one crew. A Starfleet crew. And as the only Starfleet vessel assigned to the Delta Quadrant, we'll continue to follow our directive to seek out new worlds and explore space. But our primary goal is clear. Even at maximum speeds, it would take seventy five years to reach the Federation, but I'm not willing to settle for that. There's another entity like the Caretaker out there somewhere who has the ability to get us there a lot faster. Say what you want about about the show, Voyager has the best opening scene of the franchise.

Definitely my favourite theme music, too.
The show has some very good episodes, it just didn't develop the characters very well, and it needed to have continuing story arcs. We should have seen more of a struggle to survive and keep the ship running.
Ah yes, the adventures of the warship voyager, bane of the delta quadrant, slayer of borg and species 8472 and home of the other annoying kim.
And thirty years later the rest of Starfleet along with the Klingons and the Romulans get to clean up all the colossal messes they left behind. 8472, the Borg, the Voth, the Vaadwuar, the Krenim...what a pain in the behind.
Oh and the purple space zombies, cant forget about them though for the life of me i cant remember their name. I know one of them used to a human named Ballard.
