Sometimes these stories make me feel sad that I don't use some of these ships more. Solid work on both the stories and the amazing shots your getting. Thanks for the effort. :)

I also feel sad when I 'neglect' certain ships. :D

Romulans are overpowered as *****! They wiped out klingons, ruined dominion and then fend off the Borg ALONE. Their relatively weak hulls and frontal damage DO NOT compensate these insane abilities. This is just ridiculous, how Romulan AI always beats its AI opponents.

I'm dealing with it only with spacedocks, pile of prometheuses, phoenixes, sovereigns and all heroes. It's a mad battle of buffs, and as long as others AIs lose to Romulans, we must say that the latter is really overpowered.

I suggest you to pay attention to their buffs and debuffs.

You'll find that's rather different now. We found that there were some issues with AI behaviors of the Feds and Klinks relating to a couple of things and have rectified them. The Beta testers will hopefully confirm.

Speaking of suggestions, you have a rather contentious writing style. I know you're trying to be helpful and I appreciate the effort you put in, but you need to phrase things better in order to ensure that you sound reasonable as opposed to, well, frankly entitled.

I'd also suggest that the prometheus is possibly one of the weaker capitals to be honest. The Federation when used well has a better fleet than the Romulans when it comes to buffing and debuffing. You'll need to target the most devastating ability casters (such as the shadow) on the Romulans first and that helps you immensely.

I have means to destroy them. But ARMOR -15, COOLDOWN 90% and SPEED -300% - is that fair?! And there is plenty of such.
Why Romulans can stack abilities, but Federation Intrepid can't?! Oh, please. It appears you know nothing about Romulans. There is few "less dangerous" ships. I am stacking repairs and shields buffs, slowly overwhelming them, but this is not universal tactics.

Regarding Prometheus... It's a good ship, decent ship. But it lacks shield points and better shield mitigation/restore rate. It's a cutting edge tactical vessel, and so it should be able to hold more punishment than now.

Regarding my style. It takes time to get used to it. You should consider cultural aspect in the Internet, to be honest. If I, due to language barrier, can't give you a sweet pill, I'll make sure you at least know the problem and have someone's (mine) perspective. If you don't need it, Max Loef can break into topic, erase all comments and state that I harrased people all around.

By the way, congrats on your new role, (Tech) Dukat.

Though, it's not a big problem. Just do something with romulans' insane debuffs (stacks) and make Intrepid somehow useful, please.

Thank you for attention!

there's no new role at all. I've always been God.

what about the abilites on all the other Federation vessels
that can stack?
The intrepid works according to its intended purpose, and voyager itself has the plot armour that you so firmly want the federation to have :D

Description

The Whitewind-class light cruiser was first launched in the 2280s, only a few years after her sister, the Winged Defender. Initially designed to counter the emerging Miranda and Contellation-class starships of the Federation, the Whitewind, like her sister, never got the chance to face her intended adversaries in battle, but nevertheless went on to have a long career in the Imperial Navy.

The Whitewind, it should be mentioned, never enjoyed the great success of her sisters. While a capable and sturdy craft, even when it was new it often came across as a painfully average vessel, in most respects. Though by no means a poorly designed warship, it never truly excelled in any given role. Despite its lack of glamour, the Whitewind was solid and true enough to see the Empire through some trying times, as the Romulan economy struggled for the first few decades of the 24th Century.

As time went by the Whitewind started showing its age more than most. Slow and graceless compared to new Romulan ships, the Whitewind has been given increasingly limited roles in recent years, and was on the verge of being retired completely before the Dominion threat reared its head in the 2370s. The Whitewind's service life has therefore been slightly extended, with these old cruisers being converted to carry heavy plasma torpedoes, suitable for bombarding enemy defences and space stations from great range. Old and starved for glory she may be, but the Whitewind still has her uses and will continue to serve the Empire until she has nothing left to give. There is honour in that, at least.
