Bandits and milltary running scared for the map without use his weapons, any fix for this bug???
i have the same problem. every enemy runs away from me. nobody want's to be my friend^^
i have the same issue, even most stalkers are unarmed :( know if there's a fix yet ?
Yeah, ever since I lost my data for SO. Reinstalled stalker Soup, now its like a liberal Canadian's dream world: only bad guys and monsters have weapons ( no one else, included those who are supposed to have them; the military).
So yeah, hoping to fix this.
Yeah, I get this too. Some enemies have weapons while most don't, and that's why they run when they see you. It isn't just bandits and military though. I've observed this with other factions too, mercs, even stalkers run from animals and mutants.
Sometimes they will whip out a grenade though. I made the mistake of sprinting after a few bandits around the car park, stopping on occasion to shoot them in the back as they ran and one of them eventually turned around and nearly annihilated me with a frag.
I found it rather hilarious when a rat entered the rookie village one morning and all the stalkers ran into the same broken down home and huddled together, screaming and shouting. Bunch of pussies.
I can remember waking up from a bad dream and hearing all this commotion outside accompanied by an explosion. Like going after a fly with a bazooka (rat with a hand grenade -- I'm going to start using that one).
Go his mega page and download patch file and replace in game dir. For me bug was fixed.

so.. i tried the mega link on the homepage..
reached the quota and got ****** cause i'd forgotten about that :/
and then came here..
but then i noticed that this file is 7Gb instead of 10Gb as on mega..
what's the difference?!?!?
just packed it tightly in the zip?
or does mega not compress and just puts everything in a zip for easy download?!
cause if there is a difference i am considdering spending 5eur to get the smallest pro package on mega but not if this is exactly the same
EDIT: BAAH oki nevermind i just figured out that it's 10Gb with all the extra stuff on the mega link.. just about 200-300Mb larger without extras and just the setup files but that is in raw files not a zip

Not working NPC have no weapons...
I just found the solution! You have to get the latest patch directly from technobacon homepage to have NPC with weapons (file STALKERSOUP 1.1.0010 setup.7z).

I extracted the installer and the .bin files from the ZIP file, but whenever I run it, it says that the .exe is not compatible with my version of Windows. I'm on Windows 7 Service Pack 1, so this error makes no sense. Does anybody else have this problem? Do I have to run it from within the ZIP file? Is it corrupted or something?
Update: I managed to get it working by downloading the .exe from the MEGA drive and replacing the .exe that comes with this download with it. Going to see if it installs correctly in a bit.
Edit: Unfortunately, it didn't work. The installer gets to about 57% before stopping due to the source file for gamedata.dbf being corrupted. Looks like having to wait 20 hours for the MEGA download is the only way for this thing to work.

Yes, the MEGA download worked but the catch is that you have to have one of those premium accounts in order to download the entire thing. Really blows.
Oh well Doggies, I think I will return later then. I tested from version 34 through to 110000 if that's all the knows and then to the new 110008 when I decided to have a break. I am of the opinion now that the best testers are the dialogue group for anything that remaining from their Herculean successful task, and someone who can resolve coding etc reasons for remaining glitches. There is only so much play testing one can do.Hopefully, the latter volunteers will be able to update DB mod and TB's fundraiser eg if everyone who plays sent $5 to his merchandise address, he could hopefully finally get 64bit and a server capable of handling the sort of traffic the live version of StalkerSoup will need. The question is as with all fundraisers how many will contribute?

The installer file is in capable with windows 7....... try administraion rights and that doesnt work either

tried to download the file (about 7gb) but when i download it it stops at around 3gb as if it is finished. then when i click on it winrar says "unexpected end of archive" and when i try to extract it says "archive is corrupt"

It says release date is 2012 for the mod, but this is the 2016 complete version (of the Russian Mod) correct? Cause they originally released it in 2012, then suddenly completed it in 2016 after hearing nothing from them in between.
And their latest patch (as far as I'm aware of) for the 2016 Narodnaya Solanka is from 06/18/2017. Does your patches also include those?

Right well this is swell alright, it doesn't matter if you download it here or in the new installation locations since this installer is obselete on here fun fact: the damn game wont work no matter what you download for Stalkersoup if its the updates the patches the beta version or anything none of them are compatible anymore nor will do anything else beyond that point other then abort the installation so whats the point ?
As the game is still 32-bit there are a few hoops to jump through to make it work with Windows 10/11
