I have 2 questions ..I hear no rain ,no footsteps and no ambient sounds outside ..
And when i go back to the dump my pda doesn't work cause its stuck in the broken mode ..but I believe only in dump ..any idea ?
Sword, excellent work. Just for the "fun" of it, I backed up my StalkerSoup files I wanted to keep, uninstalled, and re-installed StalkerSoup per your guide. Installation works, runs smoothly. If people follow this guide carefully, they will get a working installation.

When I went to download the file, it maxed me out. So now I can't download the rest of the files from your Mega pages and since you say that the download files here on ModDB are "obsolete", then what am I supposed to do? I've followed the instructions to the point until the 1.1.0012 Game Verifier part, which I can't fulfill and have been capped out on Mega and have to wait.
Note that I don't mean to seem irritable, I've just been working on getting this to work for about 4 hours. Sorry if I sound like an *******...

If you try to download all the files in one go, then Mega will max you out. I've found that downloading one file at a time works for me :-)
You can get around the megaupload limit if you change the mac address of your router, and then restart both the modem and router to get a new IP its what I did.
Only works on ISP's that are DHCP though. Not Static

The Updater seems to have stopped working under wine. I only ever get the message that the Stalkersoup Update server cannot be reached now (I even tried some dll overrides for winhhtp and schannel).
Can you maybe upload the Update.exe or give the direct link to the file?

You've probably downloaded your base files from the wrong place. The ones available from ModDB are obsolete. Please refer to my comment at the bottom for the correct download instructions
Thank you for all the effort that has gone into this and maintaining it.
One query I have is I can't run it in DX11 mode, only DX9. A message is displayed saying that the video card does not support the pixel shader 1.1, so I'm not sure what I have to do to get around that. I haven't noticed anything in the install guide about that but I will take another look in case I missed something.

How do I install this? I use the verifier and then it gives me an error saying the game is 1.1.00012, not 1.1.00019. Afterwards, it aborts the installation before it even starts. I got it from the Google Drive link. Is this no longer playable or what?

The Installation Help Guide is 16 pages long, and covers every problem that players have had with installing this 32-bit supermod. It also contains loads of other useful info on the mod, including tips, cheats, and workarounds from the forum... ;-)
Version 1.10019.5d of the Installation Help Guide is now available, and emphasises the need to ensure that your DirectX, Visual C++ Redistributables, and XNA Framework Redistributables are up to date to play this supermod
very strange alright cuz the game does work and play and such but the only real issue that i currently got is that no NPC's spawn or well...that's nto entierly true....idk how to put this really but it does feel like they kind of pop up when they feel like it i suppose ?
well the game works anyways but why the heck cant i vissit Sidrovich for XD i took two kinds of WTF drugs now what am i missing XD
