As a person with very little free time anymore but an absolute love of STALKER, and an interest in playing this mod WITHOUT the initial grind (Of which for me is tedious, 5 hours in and I'm still hoboing it around Zaton while I've made barely enough to buy food.), I'm wondering if anyone has put a spawn mod together for 2.0? Being as I have no free time and I know of no exploits to give me a boost from the hobo phase this is aggrevating. I rarely get enough money to buy enough bullets to defend myself with, I've gotten lucky a couple times with Loners killing bandits and the such but usually I end up getting shot by the loners or the items I find are in such poor quality I net maybe 500-1500 rubles. Again, a spawn mod for someone like me would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any info.

The more you advance, the more you will make. I didn't particularly scavenge for artifacts, only went through the anomaly zones if they were in my way, and now that I arrived in pripyat I have 300k RU and was able to buy Seva, some good guns and a lot of supplies for the future in pripyat, so I had ~500k before going there.

I just don't want to blow 2 weeks of spare time so I can actually start enjoying it, I could do much more interesting things with that time. Are there any certain places I could go to even? I got the AK ammo off the bridge but can't seem to find the other key to that one trunk.

EDIT: Found an old mod for version 1.2 Moddb.com hopefully this helps someone like me. Though a 2.0 version would have been nice, hopefully there's no compatibility errors.

Just exploit the UPD glitch. Buy it low from beard and sell it high to him for profit. When you make it to yanov you can do it with veles detectors to make money even faster.

Actually here is a spawn mod for misery 2. I didn't try it but it may work. Brought to you by /vg/.

Hi guys, I've been working on fixing up the Spawn Mod for Misery 2 since yesterday. Aside from NPCs which I'm working on right now, it has pretty much everything unless I missed stuff.

That would have been helpful when Blacks PDA was not being spawned on Black. Instead I had it spawn on one of the snipers in the underground route to pripyat by editing the ltx.

Thats a nice menu setup. I started working on something to better categorize things myself but haven't made a ton of progress with it. As for the tables I *think* I've got everything nailed down. Mostly I just went through trade_generic.ltx and started redoing the tables from scratch. They're actually pretty organized inside of the ui_si file itself even though it might not look like so much from the spawn menu itself. For NPCs I looked in npc_profile.xml, monsters.ltx and then through the individual monster files (m_boar.ltx etc) for variations. There are a few monsters that crash when you spawn them so I've commented them out for now. I also did a small update to the Stalker zombies that I had missed.

If you don't mind I'd like to take a look through your menu work. Having something much more categorized would be nicer than what we had previously. I had quite a bit of fun doing this but I can't compete with that menu. But here is the updated version anyways:

Edit: Wow that is a lot nicer scripting than the old GSC stuff. Just a suggestion but add 2 more buttons: Creatures and NPCs. Creatures are listed at the top of the table in my ui_si file, NPCs are on the bottom. Creatures are separated and should be easy to see which is which, NPCs are sort of organized but it could be cleaner.

You guys can use stuff from GOTZ on my page, its got alot of features in it and all it has to be done is tweaked for the values in Misery 2. It already tops most spawn menus in my opinion. Then all we need is a way to stop the script kills, as i've used a trainer to explore the world, found that any anomaly, or bullet to the head in misery vs Regular CoP = death in longer time. died from entire waste process plant shooting at me for 5 minutes. eventually my screen blacked and i died. It also has call values for squads and all Individual NPC's, rank, toughness, etc so it is a good reference atleast

I looked at the GOTZ codebase when writing my own, but I wanted to learn something, not hack an already awful codebase. I'm about to test an update with NPC spawning, weather effects, and an improved UI.

Here we go, the code is now on Github and you can download v1.1.

Mkay, it was worth to ask, ill test it after i re-install misery i accidently forgot to remove the other spawn menu n it crashes now..

nvm, your 1.0 still crashes me regardless, ill try after i reinstall + update, and then add if it crashes still ill let you know

So, 1.1 work w/ the update but i would suggest u recompile it with the 2.0.1 patch installed because it removes the patch notice, also try to make some of the lines more organized, some parts of the npc spawns of so messy it is hard to sapwn thing put all singular opt quest related like Military_Level_0 -> 4 towards the top not just bandits

well i found out how i worked...

i cant seem to find the NPC Topol (he is out side the science bunker normally)
dos he go under a different name in the spawn menu?

Mini, if u started the Find Psy-Emission and talked to him and say go w/o me or wait up he may of left straight for the tunnel, if not then i dont think he is set to appear UNTIL AFTER you accept the quest

the mission just says that i have to talk to him but as he died a wile ago i cant talk to him and therefor i cant progress the mission as i have to talk to him first.

How can I imagine this spawn mod? Can I use it once, just to get something that is bugged for me, and then play on as if nothing ever happened?
How easy is it to navigate between items and NPCs you want to spawn?

To use the spawn menu that is created by Measly_Twerp, you install it and then press the PAUSE button, when in the main menu of the game, press F1. This will bring up an easy to use UI. Should be obvious what to do from there.

does it have morgan's PDA? i just found out that selling to the Shevshenko npc will not allow you do find some armory... can i spawn it again with this mod to give the pda to the people of freedom or duty?

It has Morgan's PDA. But you can't use it. The original PDA has a script, the spawned one does not have a script. This means that you will not be able to use the PDA. I already tried it.

Really?, I spawned it along w/ all the Gear from Waste plant and iwas able to start and end the quests like bam, also i was able to spawn the unidentified gauss rifle show it to Cardan spawn said documents [ get transported to iron forest were a psy emission is frying me in an endless glitch, ] (Had top use trainer to utilize teleportation.

Or else i died, idk what to do so i just stopped w/ that part, also yes u can spawn all quest items.

Also, on the Case of Morgan's PDA u can spawn it give it to duty, Freedom, or Owl, but in doing so it removed the Scripted Functions for each. So if i spawn it give it to duty i cant spawn it again and give it to freedom. So yes you can spawn and use but u cannot multi-use.

BTW we don't need more Spawners We Improved, Updated, and a constantly updating Spawner that Keeps it's contents Checked for The Current Vers. of Misery
