Completed MISERY 2.1 a good 5 years ago and it was probably my best, but hardest, experience in STALKER COP ever. The only thing that really let me down was the general CoP performance (stalker is always a stutter fest) and the lack of content in the last area where you meet Strelok etc.

So, I'm back to give 2.2.1 a go. What should I look out for? Is it even harder with more to manage than before? Any tips or other mods, aside from AN4 I should check out?

Thanks!

Try it as it is, at first. AN4 I would recommend only if you don't like that rusty/rotten MISERY style or you have performance issues where different set of grass height/density may help.

It all depends on someone personal preferences. TAZ 2.0 is still in development, but wort to track it and try once it is released. Other things, like unlocking all possible upgrades on armour and weapons might break a gamebalance for a bit. That's only my opinion, but other people might like it. Also keep in mind that some additions/tweaks might not be 100% bugs free and some might require to start new game once you apply it.

I haven't tracked forums more closely lately, so, can't tell what addon is properly updated and what not. But you might want to ping jasper34 for more detailed info about it.

I have not tried or tested any add-ons. Alun's quest line is the only new content besides the new features. I recommend anyone without a top-of-the-line system use the lowest grass height and draw distance AN4 has or expect to turn off some video features to maintain frame rates.
