Hello,

First congratulations for the mod

I try to make a modification for Misery in which when a character dies there can be ammunition of the weapons that it carries. I have managed to increase the amount of ammunition but almost always ammunition appears only from the secondary weapon like a gun. I can not get ammunition from the main weapon to appear regularly.

It would seem quite realistic to me that if I kill one with a shotgun when registering the body, I have shotgun ammunition.

This would also make for example if you run out of ammunition and the enemy is using another type, you have to end up using an enemy weapon to finish the mission

I'm editing the death_loot_settings file but I can not get ammunition of the main weapon in a usual way

I've played through the entire game without buying ammo. It is relatively cheap and there is plenty of money in the game to buy whatever you need. There is code to unload the weapons, but I am not a coder and don't know where it is.

Of course I do not say that you can not play like this. I say that I try that the ammunition that remains when you kill someone is in accordance with the weapons that it carries.

Do not you think it's too much of a coincidence that when you kill someone, there are only 3 bullets left? :)

It is intentional that there be nearly no ammo left. I understand what you want to make happen. There is a bit of programming which causes the weapons to be unloaded for MISERY, I think, but that's as far as my knowledge goes, I'm afraid.

Someone who knows?

There remains this thread to debate on whether it is convenient for dead NPCs to have their ammunition. I am very immersed in the area, but when I register a cadaver, it takes that incongruity out of history.

I am then looking for the solution in:
