Call of Misery started as an unofficial port of Misery 2 to Call of Chernobyl but has since gone on to add its own features and changes. There are now many addons for CoM itself, most of which are released in Russian. This mod has CoM and some of the popular addons for CoM along with some of the translations for them. Credit will be given in each mod and addon to the creators and translators.
I always found it strange that you often see S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s cooking over campfires but you cannot. Luckily a lovely russian modder named Faustle created a mod to solve just that. In order to keep balance with this mod, you can only use it on low-tier meats.
ALL credit goes to Faustle, All I have done is spent a few hours merging the files to be compatible with Outfit Addon, axebeardbeardaxe's Fieldcraft (Faustle did STCoM already) and changed the UI window to English. I am quite new to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. modding and In my limited looking to merge the mod I couldn't find what was keeping the "Cook" box in Russian. If you know what I need to change for that let me know otherwise, I doubt ill fix it.
I highly recommend JSGME to manage your mods.
1.Place the Campfire Cooking folder into your JSGME MODS folder and simply enable it.
2. Make sure Campfire Cooking is AFTER STCom, Outfit addon and Fieldcraft + patches for it.
Withot JSGME place the gamedata folder into your CoM directory, AFTER you have installed STCom, Outfit addon and Fieldcraft + patches for it. Then proceed to overwrite any files it asks.
Purchase the "Mess kit" from any trader, Sidrovich in the Rookie Village should sell it.
Walk up to any lit fire and "use" the Mess kit from the inventory screen, then the cooking UI will pop up and it's quite self-explanatory from there.
Many other great works can be found in the thread of Russian community mods for CoM. Unfortunately, they are not translated so that is up to you.
