The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.

After the first month of being releasedIt's 1 month today that the first version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly was released. It's been a busy month for me and there are now 11 updates (and a preview of Update 12 that fixes a potential crash bug when loading a save). I'm finally getting the impression and feedback that it's quite stable and working well for most people, at least if their PC can handle the rather demanding system requirements. What's next? So, here's the plan for the next update: I'm planning to re-pack the whole mod pack and making it available as a new download that includes all updates that are released so far (including Update 12). This should make it easier to download and install the mod pack, it won't be necessary anymore to download more than 10 files and unpack them all in the right order. After that it's pretty much open to suggestions. I'll encourage anyone who cares about Anomaly to post suggestions and any kind of feedback here. I'll still decide what should go into Anomaly by default and what will candidates for potential optional addons, but it'll be in the hands of the player to influence the direction in the future with their feedback. From my point of view Anomaly has reached a point where I enjoy playing it the way it is now. What about crashes and bugs? It'll still be important for me to fix as many problems as I can. I will probably slow down development a bit, at least for a while, the past 31 days have been quite busy and I don't want to keep pouring all of my free time into maintaining it while not having the time to actually play and enjoy Anomaly myself. Update Previews will be maintained for longer before being released officially and they will accumulate fixes over time, so it will be more important than before to always check for new versions and install them as they become available. The 64 bit engineIt'll be interesting to look into other mods and try to integrate the 64 bit engine into them. I'm thinking about Call of Chernobyl, Call of Misery, Last Day, Echo of Misery and probably a few CoC based mod packs that are available on MODDB, like for example the Enhanced CoC mod pack, CCCP, or Prink's CoC Overhauls. |

If you are so much into help you could look at warfare for the missing options or the additional addons for no upgrade restrections |

Well I dont take it as a cheating since you will need to spend a lot more money Maybe with this such and addon would be good to higher up the price for guns to buy and suits and reduce drops of good weapons then it would be fair enough. And you should definitely try the warfare with the dynamic relations it really improve the zone life. Or one thing that came to my mind if there were weapons and suit with option to fully upgrade them but they would cost fortune and only thing how we could buy them were giving money to people like nimble Edited by: ExoSt4lker |
