yes it will work with any npc spawn rate it will generate around 1000 stalkers in 1.5, 700 stalkers in 1, 600 stalkers in 0.5 and 500 stalkers in 0.25, bear in mind the mod was made to be action packed, so even if you use a lower npc spawn rate it will still be a warzone.

it has nothing to do with project kaos, project kaos the last time i tried it proved to be very unstable, made the game crash a lot so i did my own mod, unless it has changed a lot the last time i tried project kaos it was really overwhelming the game engine, i focused more on having more action but above all keeping the game as stable as possible, my mod is completely different from project kaos i can assure you that

what mods are you running? i did not change anything in the trader files, only script related spawns, i did try to start a new game as a merc and dushman sells a lot of stuff. i need to know if you're using any trader overhaul mods so that i can help you fix it...

I am using trader overhaul for the traders nothing else when I installed Warzone V1 dushman has nothing to sell and buys literally everything even trash items went back to normal after I uninstalled it but like you said the trader files are not changed and yet he sells nothing I'm confused

did you start a new game? this mod is intended to work with a new game, there shouldn't be a conflict, i am using the zone mod by igornitch which also has trader overhaul in his modpack and no problems, it is weird because the trader files are completely diferent from the spawning scripts and simulation_props.ltx also does not touch the traders, you can try the zone mod with warzone it definitely works and the zone mod is a very good modpack also.
in last case open the file trade_mercenary_dushman.ltx located in gamedata/configs/item/trade and check if the settings are fine, you can always add something to your like it is very easy to mod trade files.

hellyeah it is, i use 1.5 for stalker npc and 0.5 for mutant npc
and you really bite your nails to the bone trying not to be killed by the amount of hostile stalkers/mutants you find along the way, the main focus for now is to increase stalker populations and hostile encounters since i get bored of travelling a lot and often only getting into a gunfight very ocasionally, the next version i will upload will feature even more action, more random stalkers, more mutants, all while working my best to not break the game stability, which is my top priority, it is not only about having a ton of stalkers and mutants waiting for you, it is about having a ton of stalkers and mutants waiting for you without having a game crash every half our of so, which is very annoying of course. stay tuned. it is only beginning there will be much more work to be done on this mod..

brother, your contribution is appreciated I confirm that for version 1.5.0 [BETA 3.0] it works but as already mentioned, some merchants as technicians no longer sell anything. I'll wait for the update of this great job, they slaughtered me like 20 times XD

thank you there are many things i still have to polish and work to get it perfected, as you mentioned dying 20 times, i died more than 50 times in the cordon trying to get to the garbage, at that time i tought of naming the mod "warzone - crying is not enough" it really made short work of me no matter what guns i tried death was always one step further..i am focusing on getting the entire zone even more aggressive and random, so that if you play as a bandit you still have a lot of enemies to take down, the next version will also have a trader overhaul tuned by myself to sell all the outfit/armors present in game tiered by maps/levels so that you can buy anything you want the game has to offer depending on your goodwill and location you are at, basically an improved version of trader overhaul that will be made specifically to work with my future mod version, there will be a lot of work involved but as soon as it is done and tested it will be posted for you stalkers to enjoy.

thank you there is lots of work to be done on this, but if everything goes according to what i want, the zone will be even more agressive and unpredictable than ever before, the bug with traders is something i have to check solo, since i am using the zone mod by Igornitch the mod does not mess with traders i have to try the warzone alone to see if it does mess with traders..

tried to use the mod alone and it happened to me also but the only trader i've seen having nothing to trade was only dushman. i have a fix for that while i work on warzone V2 it will solve dushman's problem..

for anyone using the mod and having trouble with dushman not having anything to trade i have fixed it:
Gofile.io

simply replace the files from this gamedata folder
wont work with previous save games where the bug ocurred, you need to start a new game in order for the fix to work, try to start a new game as a mercenary to check if dushman is selling stuff as normal, then you can play normally while i work on Warzone V2.

good hunting stalkers...

Bro have you tried a mod called Living zone non Stope 24/7? I had a nice warfare game setup with halved spawn times with warfare overhaul but then i messed with a setting on presets and I busted my brain trying to get it working again, a lot of crashes and lockups followed by crashing I was playing with 3.000-4.000 registered stalkers on the map smoothly but then I ****** up tweaking warfare preset slider, damm it was the best gameplay ive ever had, what and how do you tweak settings to increase population? (now its crashing with 5000 stalkers in the zone)

Also this setup had a balanced mutant spawn, not overwelming

Gofile.io download this, put it in youranomalyfolder/gamedata/scripts go to the game and you can adjust mutant and stalker population factor up to 9 (which is already insane)
if you want to modify the values of the pop scale yourself open the file with notepad and go to line 378 and 379 there you will find alife_mutant_pop
alife_stalker_pop just modify the numbers inside the {} fields, if you go too crazy on the pop scale expect some crashes, the game literally ***** himself with too many npc specially on zaton, red forest, military warehouses and jupiter which are more prone to crashes, there is also another way to increase the population, go to gamedata/configs/misc/squad_descr and open the file squad_descr_default_stalkers.ltx there modify the npc per squad numbers of all factions, together with the increased pop scale you can easily go to 5000, 6000 even higher populations, the rest depends on the power of your pc and the game engine itself, i can not go much higher than 1500 npc because i need a beefier rig to get there with good fps

i will release warzone v3 soon and i will include an optional to increase npc/mutant spawns all the way up to a factor of 9 so it will be more than enough to eat your game's fps you can use it in RC18 but this new version was made with original RC19 files (there shouldn't be a problem)

Anyone getting an error regarding spawns? I keep getting the error below. I believe its due to overspawning certain smarts where there's too much going on for the system to handle. This is in rc19, seems like the rapid spawning is causing some problems.

ocasionally you run into that, i also experience it but it is very rare, specially on RC19 which i found it to be much more stable with the spawning scripts comparing to U4/H8 version, there were a few issues that could cause it such as some spawns having parameters but not having idle spawn timers and that can cause those smarts to be spawning neverending npc/mutants there will be a new version soon with improvements and the spawn timers will have to be longer (they were set at about 1h in-game, they will be on 2 to 3h in-game, which makes the game way more stable and keeps the zone well populated and firefight friendly) so get ready to shake the dust of those shooters...

as long as it does not replace the folder gamedata/configs/scripts you can use whatever mod you like, if it does have that folder in the mod you mentioned the best approach is trying to merge with my mod, some mods use modified trader files which are located on the folder scripts, copy whatever files to the folder but do not replace anything in the smart files and you should be ready to go.

i didn't test on RC21, only RC18 and RC22, in RC18 you can use the warzone part of the mod but not the rank loadout mod, else you would later have bugs with the inventory script release manager, on RC22 it is sorted out, so try with your RC21, if the game ctds a few hours of playing check your logs, at the end of the log if the error is something like cannot release inventory nil etc... upgrade to RC22..else it should work fine.

with this mod, we can basically turn the story mode crusades into a real thing and not, for example, just deactivating the brain scorcher and fighting some monoliths...tried there and blyaaaaaat, this modded A-Life spawned a squadron of Nosorog troops with nimble weapons just behind me and Hip LOL

the last time i played the X19 deactivation mission it was a dream, every since the beginning of radar all the way up to X19 entrance i was greeted with a huge swarm of zombies and monolith were in the way on the entire level, specially when going up to the X19 base. I've never had such a fun playthrough...

yes you need, but to a stalker enthusiast starting again is awesome, the build up to good/high end gear is very rewarding, those first firefights where you cringe and bite your nails with stress trying not to get killed by a stray bullet or swiped down by a nasty mutant...

Keeps crashing to desktop when entering Jupiter from Red forest. Tried without addon and it still crashes. I'm the guy from the earlier post who asked about compatibility with muh immersion pack. It worked until now. Was having a lot of fun. Dont know if this addon is causing it, however this is the last one I installed. Running on U4H8 with your previous warzone v2. I tried fast travelling, but it still crashed.

go to your stalker anomaly folder and into appdata/logs folder find the file xray(name of user in my case it is admin).log and post the file so i can try and see what is causing that crash (you need to do it right after the crash happens).

different concept, the warfare ai overhaul mod is aiming specifically into warfare mode and it is "forcing" npc's to better occupy smart terrains, i am aiming for every game mode except survival (it is only spawning zombies), the spawn system is much more active and very random, some smarts are uniques for bandits, army, monolith, ecologs, mercs, freedom etc... most of them are completely random, they can spawn friendly stalkers, hostile stalkers or mutants, the mutant factions was modified so that you can have mutants at any time of day/night, no more mutants go to sleep, they hunt you down relentlessly, they never sleep... don't expect mercy with this mod as you can easily run into a chimera on cordon, it was the first monster i killed during the kill boars quest (and of course it killed me at the first attempt)
