I edited some guitar track i found, added fire cracks, ambient strings, echoing, distant thunder and few distant gun shots near end of the track to make it perfect for this theme.. hope you like it :) if you want something changed let me know. download link here: We.tl
What you did sounds cool, even I thought about it to do about the same, but my goal was to convey as closely as possible the atmosphere of the original game and the style that the developers previously followed when creating the main menu, namely the addition of a couple of animations and static music in the background. No more, no less.
Hello Daedal, any chance you can reupload your version of the track. Tried to download your one but says the file was expired so was unable to.
Also how did you go about replacing the track? I tried to do it myself with a track, made it the same name and converted it to an .ogg file but when I replace it nothing plays.
Love this main menu and want to continue to use it!

Great menu, I love it. Thanks! I noticed something though: the music only plays the first time you fire the game up. When you press Esc during play, or quit current game to go back to start menu, it doesn't play the music. Don't know if this was intended, just wanted to let you know.

Only wish there was an option to restore the original Exit to Windows button... sometimes i'm just worn out and don't want to wait for the extra loading and button presses to exit.

This is wonderful. Do you know if it's possible to force the music to play every time I pause? It seems that Anomaly doesn't like to play menu music more than once.
i once wanted that too, but someone told me that it's a engine related thing so it's not possible :/
