The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.

Description

Prevents the player from injuring companions and companions from injuring the player. MCM is NOT required. MCM will allow the protection in either direction to be turned off at any time. Update May2021 added companion v companion protection and compatibility with "companions don't die"

Check the box to enable debug mode in the launcher, load into a game, replicate this bug, exit the game and put your xray log into a paste bin and link it here please.

My mod is stopping the game engine from applying bullet damage. However i cannot stop companions don't die from setting the NPC health to 4%.

Until companions don't die uses a more compatable method of stopping NPC death, maybe by nerfing the bullet damage, it will be incompatible with my mod.

We need a way to stop companions pushing us around. It's really frustrating when you sit behind cover and aim to take the perfect shot. But then companion either pushes you out of cover or steps right in front of your barrel in the exact moment you're pulling the trigger.

how do units react when they patrol (motionless, stay on one point)? do they stay and shoot or do they run towards the enemy? if the first, set up a key combination, where this is executed. (in one move, stop unit, select position, confirm position, start patrol). - it would also be more tactical to wait during a defense or certain attacks instead of running into the open fire. if they could also learn to take tactical positions, like climbing on the roof, that would be really great.

would it be possible to apply this to the whole own faction? gladly also to neutral factions. especially if you play warfare, this would be very helpful, because you like to shoot at the wrong ones or throw grenades at them.

While I don't use companions, I thought I'd try my luck asking here if anyone has found a way to disable friendlies complaining about having your weapon out?

I've been trying to find a fix for that since the game came out lol. Drives me up the wall.

for others again briefly, for the emergency. use a language that you do not understand. then you can ignore it easier than if you directly understand what they want. still contains the problem that they occasionally become hostile.

I am only suppressing damage of the shot, not the fact that you shot them. I guess i should look into if i can suppress the reputation loss too.

I think there is a bug that makes you companions immune to enemy bullets as they take no damage from them. They still die from melee and explosives though.

Probably a mod conflict. This addon makes no effort to distinguish between damage types, only the person inflicting it.

Wish i had a better description in the MCM, note the anyoing ui_mcm_title_nomorefriendlyfire or something. With German Language packs MCM fu** me up :(

duplicate the configs/text/eng (or rus) folder and rename it whatever the german lang uses.

you could translate those files yourself. the german language pack ppl would probably take it as a submission if you do.

When I use the vag addon "No More Companion Friendly Fire" with the addon "Grok's Balanced Overhaul Of Ballistics System (GBOOBS) 1.7.1", I can deal damage to companions.
