The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
This addon pretends to add a variety of songs to Anomaly without losing that vanilla feeling.Currently adds 2 hours and 42 minutes of music. You decide if you want to add them with the vanilla songs or replace them.

I got a bit bored of listening the same music over and over again and none of the current music addons convinced me enough so I decided to add some songs myself, this is not an insult to Gates of Morheim, I really appreciate their amazing work, I just wanted some variety keeping that vanilla-friendly feeling. Before you install take your time to listen to the listed songs, but in case you don't like it and it's already installed it should be easy to uninstall since there aren't much files. Let me know if there's anything wrong with the volume of the song, any kind support and feedback is much appreciated and welcomed. Incompatible with any other music addon. This means it's incompatible with any addon that replaces the ltx file game_levels_music addons like the pda music extenders are perfectly compatible. Thank you.
IMPORTANT: if any of the songs are too low in terms of volume make sure to report it, I'll solve it.
-How to disappear completely: Aeons, Eternals, Sever, Stay with me, Seraph I, II, IV
-Oöphoi: A desperate serenity, Behind the wall of sleep, Samten Bardo, Unbearable sadness of memories, Ism-el azam, The gates of aldebaran
Support the artists:Htdc.bandcamp.com , sadly Oophoi isn't with us anymore, but you can buy his albums to support their family members. All credits to the creators of the music.
Special thanks to Timm, my beloved beta tester.
-Changelog:
-Added the option to combine them with vanilla songs or replace them. Choose only one
Showcase:
For those of you who are a little lazy and don't want to check each song yourselves, here's a little showcase. Video doesn't show all songs, just a few.
My channel got deleted by a hacker sorry
Changelog:
-03/17/2021 Fixed the sound for one song, now you should be able to hear it better.
don't mean to go off topic but is it possible to just disable the music? its actually kind of annoying especially because the volume is tied to the sfx volume while at the same time being louder than the sfx. Would have hoped for Soundscape Overhaul to do that because it removes the mutant howles too but apparently not.
yeah that didnt work mate. music volume ingame seemed to be tied to the sfx slider instead of the music one. what did help for some reason though (ty Isthar) was completely setting the music volume to 0 instead of trying to just make it more quiet. I didn't try that until now.
Hmm, I didn't think that the music was tied to the sound effects. I know it seems like an obvious question but just in case, have you tried changing the sound settings in the game pause menu? Anyway, I'll dm, I believe I can do something for you
And the tracks are also pretty rad! As the title implies they are less in-your-face and verry minimal, but also quite atmospheric stuff. Reminded me of calm moments in Silent Hill.
Thanks for the support! Truly appreciate your kind words, I'm glad you are enjoying it, also remember to report any problem with music volume or corrupted tracks if you encounter them.
Love this ambience. The music you selected is calming, peaceful, atmospheric, and perfectly captures the sense of desolation in the zone. The popular ambient music addon has more of a horror, tense feel to it. IDK if that's the best way to describe it, but it just didn't click for me at all. Your music pack, however, is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you, sir. Absolutely game changing experience for me.
Yeah that's what I wanted with the Dark ambient one, a bit of horror for labs and northern zones, but if in my personal likings I prefer this one much more, glad you appreciate it as much.
Is this compatible with your other music packs? I need them all together lol
Also I'd love to merge those with Moddb.com industrial metal for combat music

Just go to sound settings

Yo lemme get some Brian Eno up in this bitch
I didn't want to add to many songs to this one, but maybe if I do another one I'll add it. Let me know what songs you would like to hear there
Symphocat fits perfectly into your playlist
Will check it, I'm planning on doing another music addon.
edit: just checked it, dang that's awesome
10/10 for wholesomeness!

It's beautiful to know that, thanks for sharing your piece of personal history!
Will try and let you know :)

Is that replace vanilla and gates of morheim ost?
You can choose if you want to keep or replace vanilla music. The list of songs and bands are in the description
this is dope, feel as or even more immerse than with stock songs, prefer this one over vol.2, thanks.
I myself prefer this one too.

was looking for something like this, thank you.

Yes they are, and I believe (but don't remember much since it's been a while) they should be compatible with combat music.
