Anomaly is a standalone S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod powered by an x64 version of the X-Ray engine. Starting with version 1.5.0 Anomaly uses a custom engine build called the XRay-Monolith engine. After almost one year of development of the Anomaly 1.5.0 update, the mod continues its way on expanding and adding new features while maintaining a high level of quality and replay value.
This mod has 3 main functions. 1. Remove all fake mutant sounds from the ambiance 2. Repurpose those effects to real distant mutant effects to increase situational awareness and immersion 3. Replace all environmental sounds for a richer soundscape

1. Dead Zone Optional Patch
- Removes all ambient insect and bird sounds and leaves only mutants and crows.
- The emmissions have killed all life except known mutants.
- Install this for a creepier and lonely experience.

Geiger Counter is 30% quieter
Reduced volume of some wood sounds impacts
Water footsteps are actually quieter now if using optional modified Misery Boots addon. (for real this time)

No more screams in the ambiance, heavily reduced random spooky effects to urban areas and all those effects are more subtle and new.
Mutant footsteps are louder and carry futher.
Reworked some anomaly sounds. (new Gravi sound, Fire is quieter)
New door open sound, made the door slam much quieter so its not ear splitting anymore.
