LUN4T1Cs Extravagant Weapons Delivery - Snipex Alligator /// Delivered by popular demand on r/stalker here comes the new Snipex Alligator in two variants, the classic crocodile green and the matte caiman black. This enormous AMR (anti material rifle) shoots 14.5mm ammo, but has been adapted to the more common 12.7mm rounds found in the zone. It will take care of any target, close and far, just make sure to protect your ears!
The Snipex Alligator long-range large-caliber magazine-fed repeating rifle is designed to engage moving and stationary targets: vehicles, communications and air defense systems, aircraft in parking areas, fortified fixed defensive positions, dugouts, etc. The box magazine is detachable, holds five rounds of ammunition. It is designed to pierce a 10-mm armor plate from a distance of 1.5 km with a single bullet.
The rifle is designed taking into account all the requirements for weapons for high-precision shooting. Barrel locking is achieved through a rotating bolt. The floating barrel is in free recoil when the bullet flies out, which provides greater accuracy of the bullet hit. The rifle demonstrates an acceptable level of recoil during shooting. Recoil is suppressed due to the muzzle brake, the effect of a recoil isolator, an elastic multilayer shoulder pad, and optimally balanced weight.
The rifle has a height-adjustable cheek rest, which can be positioned for right- or left-handed shooting. For ease of aiming, the rifle is equipped with a folding bipod and an adjustable rear support, allowing for fine adjustment to the shooter and has a Picatinny rail with 35 MOA gradient, on which various sighting devices can be mounted.

Where to find it in the game?
Four creates made it to the Zone. Two crates (with variants in Alligator green) safely arrived as intended at the Military base in Agroprom. They have then forwarded one crate to Rostok, to bolster the Duty base. From the two other crates (with variants in Caiman black), one made it to the Merc base in Dead city, but the other one was diverted my a Monolith agent and the last time it was seen, was in proximity to the palace of culture in Pripyat. We can only assume, that Monolith forces might be soon seen equipped with something equally dangerous to the dreaded Gauss Rifle.

What is in the mod?
To install the mod, use MO2 and click on "install a new mod from archive". Select the LEWD Snipex Alligator zip file and make your choice:

Реализовал Snipex в Сталкер Чистое Небо. Вылетает игра, потому что анимация при доставании оружия "amr_draw", "amr_holster" и так далее - отсутствует. Залазил в путь к анимациям, изменял путь к анимациям - вылет один и тот же. Я абсолютно уверен, что это оружие адаптируется до Чистого Неба, так как уже переносил оружия из других частей игры.
Вот причина вылета: Expression : pm->m_animations.size()

Само оружие появляется в инвентаре, его можно выбросить, все нормально. Нету анимации для использования snipex.
Проблему решил: решение копировать все анимации из wpn_snipex_hand_animation (что в "anomaly_weapons") в анимации wpn_hand_ak74_hud_animation (через программу OMF_Editor_x64)

Snipex Alligator missing it magazine and can you make them using the 50 BMG available in the game instead of 12.7x55?
Hi, well the real gun uses 14.5mm, but that's not available ingame. So I took the 12.7 russian, that is available. But you are right, 12.7 nato might be a better fit, especially since in reality the gun also exists also in 12.7 nato (or 50cal if you prefer that name).
I'll might make an update about this.

In the animation when you **** the gun, the hand position were slightly out of it
I don't know if it's because another mod that I'm using but the hole decal when you shoot on the wall was so small
The green version doesn't have any recoil at all compared to the black one. This includes with all of the kit
Now for my personal opinion:
The gun looks great but there's too much unpolished part of the gun and so many rough edge
Some part of the gun looks unnatural because the colour doesn't seem fit to me
The gun looks bad because the gun and the scope have very different texture makes me think the gun and the scope come from a different mod
That's it from me. I just tested it on the test map so I don't know if there's another thing that you need to check out.

Yes the textures (especially the green one) lacks some depths. The normal maps are not great. I'll see if I can do something about it.
And yes, the scopes are of course different models... I'll see if I can bring the textures of the gun closer to the scopes.
Regarding animations: yeah I'm no professional animator. Doing what I can. Let's see if I can improve them somewhat.

I'm using dots and extravaganza mod but the default scope and the operator kit used the normal anomaly scope, can you make it into the extravaganza mod
Actually, I like more the green version 1 than the green version 2. The first version have the green body and the steel barrel colour but the second version mostly all green so I prefer the first version

the green recoil is missing inside the two ltx files in the plugins folder just add [wpn_snipex_g]:wpn_mosin to those two ltx files (I use Mosin instead of L96a1 )

Leave the calibre as it is, but add the possibility to upgrade the weapon for use other calibre, like the 338 lapua magnum, the bas 338 (i think) federal ammor and (in case you want to add a single weapon ammo) the .50 bmg.
