A simple edit to the companions config to make them immune to gunfire and any other forms of damage.
Annoyed that your companions keep dying? Want to show Hip the sarcophagus but you're afraid for her safety? This mod is for you!
Like all of my mods it's just a very simple edit to the game's data. This addon adds a single line to the companion config file making them immortal.
The most work i actually did on this mod was the thumbnail.Compatible with everything that doesn't edit "beh_companion.ltx" in gamedata/configs/scripts.
For latest Anomaly 1.5.1, feel free to use it in any way you like, include it in compilations, hell you can trade this mod for a kidney for all i care.
But we have it already ;[

This is what I wrote and I accomplished 2. thing (companion staying down for longer (20/30 second) - I use companion do not die + Companion HP regen better (only I use not regen every second not even vanilla regen every 10 seconds but regen every 30 second). Not good but what you can do.
I would need to accomplish the 1.thing - it would work only for Hip. Can you help me with this ?

Thx man, I never use companions but I want to try it now and your addon will be very helpful!
here it would be really better if they could die, but respawn after some time and then run back to you. or you have to pick them up somewhere. would be generally with the important NPCs also good, they die, but respawn and sometime they stand again where they once stood. and that the quests or whatever, then does not fail, but is only paused. if what was active.
Quick question what's exactly the way to disable the mod after installing it?
Hey, sorry for the late reply but all this mod does is change invulnerable to true in beh_companion.ltx, so you can disable it by just changing it back to false.
as sad as it is to admit, it's not hip I'm trying to show into the sarcophagus, it's a moron called Rogue who can barley even make his way through Pripyat

Hi, sorry but this is a very simple mod that just changes the default behavior of all companions, doing this per NPC would be much more difficult and not something I plan to try.
Next to a mod that makes these Jabronies aim better, Immortal will have to do.
I swear, I had 5 companions, gave them all sniper rifles, and watched them take 20 shots at an enemy from a good distance, finally one of them hit.
Hey, all my mods are just simple config edits, don't be scared to change things, just read the valuables and try stuff, it's probably possible to make NPCs more accurate by just changing some variables. As a place to start, the companions behavior seems to be stored in the beh_companion.ltx which this mod modifies.

Yeah, companions die super fast in Anomaly, which I'm sure is intended and an integral part of the experience according to the devs, but it just isn't fun for me either so I made a mod to make them behave more like companions in games usually do :D
