Replacement and rebalance for the HK416 using a new higher quality model and the high quality animations from B&S.[DLTX AND B&S REQUIRED]
Replaces and rebalances the vanilla HK416, giving it a fresh coat of paint. Featuring a new, higher quality model and making use of the pristine animations from Boomsticks & Sharpsticks. Stylized with furniture inspired by Girls' Frontline.
Balanced as an ENDGAME weapon.
Think of it as a NATO counterpart to the RD-74 ISG (kinda).
Requisites:
- DLTX
- Boomsticks & Sharpsticks
- (Not necessary but recommended) GAMMA
- EFT Reposition (I was too lazy to position the gun inline with vanilla, plus EFT Repos. just looks better).
- 0.65 HUD FOV. Any lower and the gun will look HUGE.
Installation:
- Make sure to check 00 in MO2 (or else you'll be smitten by the gods).
- IF you play with GAMMA (or just want the HK416 to be way more common), check 01 in MO2.
- 02 is an optional patch that makes the SPECTERDR and SUSAT scopes use the laser to aim instead of their integrated iron sight things.

- Hotfix for ACOG, EOTech and Aimpoint scopes being horribly offsetted from the center due to a major goof.

- Changed HUD positioning. Now the gun is no longer huge.

- Side rails are stretched RU556 (also from B&S) rails.
- Stock is from the M4 Tactical (you guessed it).

Call them just trash is amusing, since compared to original Stalker meshes they were ******* chocolate and **** difference.
nah its fair to say stcop is trash, the smoothing errors, the minced textures and bumpmaps, the laughable xbox huge scaling, the dead frames and reset errors. its not quite taz levels of vasyan cobbled **** but its up there. lots of the models and textures started out as high quality, many from shwm (i.e. battlefield) but got rekt in the process. nevermind slapping like 40 motions into some of the omf files.
Nice one, however i found a little problem with the laser, it shows a green laser when inspecting the gun but the real laser when you turn it on is red.

Whats the fov_hud value? Is it 0.4?
it's 0.45 default, which is make the gun look gigantic, but you can use hud_fov command in the console to change it to your liking.
It reverts back to the way it was when I ADS. Is there a way to fix that?

Nice model but holy cow what is the hud fov set to? Lots of other weapon mods go for a 40-50 HUD fov but with those setting sit looks like I'm carrying this thing in my mouth.
I positioned the model to be in line with EFT Repositions, at 0.65 HUD FOV. Should've stated that in requisites as a recommended.

but it feels somehow awkward, as BlackPiligrim said (i don't speak russian, but i think i understand this) maybe it has been placed to high ? it get even more awkward if i mount optics like acog or specter on the gun: i can't barely see anything but the optic. playing with hud_fov doesn't help here, because it only changes the distance to the object.
I'm using eft repos and using it at 0.65 hud fov, weapon its amazing but its too cloose anyway the mod is amazing pls make a patch when u have some time for that

Do you have MO2? (Mod Organizer 2) You need it for installation.
Dude the only thing that sucks about Stalker is it seems like nobody likes the AR platform lol. Thank you so much for this mod bro! It looks sick and the animations are spot on! 10/10

Just an FYI, I only tried to XPS3 Eotech, but aiming down sight the green laser dot is in the bottom right of the sight.
Can't do much about that, you can see the dot on a bunch of sights actually. It happens with a lot of other B&S guns.

GFL inspired HK416 and the author has Hifumi as profile picture. Clearly one of the mods of all time thank you for your hard work!
I just want to point out that it seems like the gun became more common for an endgame gun. I just did a new save as loner in cordon saw 2 low rank loners holding it and manage to loot one on a low rank bandit.
That's hella weird since the DLTX NPC loadout thing I threw together makes it so it only drops from master ranked UNISG, Mercenaries, Monolith and Sin. The latter can also have the gun while at Professional rank.
What is more weird, is that those drops are the exact same as vanilla Anomaly. Maybe you're using a NPC Loadout mod?

The mod is nice but pls fix the fov or at least give us some info about how to edit the fov, and the gun happears in low tier npc sometimes i gues is the gamma patch, without it, it appears only on traders or npc will carry too?

A question: I use Beef NVG and one problem is, that the green laser is seen as a light source. So it becomes this big "blob" instead of a small laser pointer.
The red laser works without a problem.
I know you "fixed" it in the update, but is there a way to revert it back to red again? :D
EDIT: with my ELITE Gimp skills i managed to change the color of the dot to red.

Hi! I would just like to ask which file the recoil "variables" and values are located in. The recoil of the weapon itself is actually pretty low but i find it hard actually making a comparison with other high end ARs so I would just like to ask which file the recoil variables and values are located in.
too lazy to make it inline with vanilla, makes us install like 10 mods to make it work hahahahahahaha
for example
1. Install main folder 00. Main EFT reposition
2. Install JSRS 3.6 (link)
3. Install FN fal animation set (link) after add A.W.A.R. 0.97 (link) (also ignore all the other instructions in the AWAR moddb page, this is the correct order) and apply patch folder 01. EFT repos + AWAR 0.97
4. Install Blindside's reanimation (link)
5. Install adjustable scope view (link) for the sights to scale properly. This just be installed only after the reanim because it makes sure the fov script is upto date
6. Apply patch folder 02. EFT repos + Blindsides reanim (must) and after, optionally you can add 02. EFT repos + Blindsides reanim(vanilla stats) if you want to keep vanilla weapon attributes with just the animation changes(I personally prefer vanilla stats)
7. Install Blindsides JSRS patch from (link)
8. Install Boomsticks and Sharpsticks (link)(must be 28-Nov-2021 version or it will crash!) and must use the 28 Dec patch(link) if you haven't already. It won't work well for any older versions.
9. Must apply BaS patch folder 03. Patch Boomsticks and Sharpsticks
10. After that apply BaS JSRS patch 04. Patch BaS + JSRS if you have JSRS installed and if you want bas guns to use jsrs sounds instead
11. Optional patch for people using BaS and BWRR audio handling pack(link), use only if you have the addon along with BaS and BWRR installed. Apply main folder 00 and the other two if you prefer
12. Optional but highly recommended, install Firemode switcher sound(link) because its better and I commented out the ones from BaS
13. Optional individual weapon mods G36 pack, Saiga replacer, SVD replacer, Abakan replacer, and apply patch 05. Patch BAN(strogglet15) guns (use the github link till I update my moddb)
you dont have to install these, they're just the order the mods are meant to be and patches required. the only required one is main folder 00.
