The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
Gear Rustle Redone for anomaly, adding a new layer of realism
Gear Rustle Redone for anomaly, this addon add new rattle sounds when walking or running in anomaly, im no the author of the script, that would be Kyle_1105. Link to the original addon: Moddb.com
Update v1:Little update, just added a quieter sfx version, you can chose any of the two version when installing it through MO2.
Update v2: New version available, When installing you can choose between the old and the new version.
I didn't like etf sounds, so I edited them, and make a mix of various games sfx, mostly from Battlefield 1.
It does not replace any sounds in the game, it only adds new ones when walking/running
Hope you like it
Thanks to HadesDK Moddb.com For his help with the thumbnail and eakMan Moddb.com for giving me a small space in his discord community, where everyone helps and supports each other's work.
It sounds aight but a little too loud. Sprinting sounds fine but jog/slow run can be a little too loud especially the clinking sounds. All in all it's pretty fine
I also find them a bit loud. But that was also the case for the original mod.
I really like the idea, but for me the main issue is that it’s still a bit too repetitive to feel organic. If even more sounds could be added, or if the game could play them at random volume, would make it less repetitive; though I don’t even know if that’s possible.
Anyway, thanks for your uploads lately, I hope you’ll continue to share !
It is strange that it feels repetitive, since the script makes them run randomly and I make sure that all the sound files have unique sounds, the volume variety of each sound can be achieved without any scripts, simply with the The same SAVandT program can edit sound by sound particularly, but there are 40 sound files and now I don't have the time or energy to do it xD
Well, I found a workaround way that pleases me, by adding many blank sound files to the pool, it further increases the randomness feeling, I really like the result !
Do you know if the script is heavy on the game ?
And thanks much for the quieter version !
Your sound mods are very nice. But you should make the audio fade out longer. There is audio and suddenly it stops at the end of the audio clip. Especially with your "Lower, raise gun" mod
Even a sidebag in real life makes quite the noise. I appreciate this mod because it makes Walking, which is what I'm doing 90% of the times, feel more real.
The gap between steps when walking or crouching make the sound effects cut off which is extremely noticeable.
My suggestion is to either use a different set of sounds for walking/crouching that's corresponding to the step gap, or silence for stealth approach. I can provide video if you like.
It's interesting what you say, but I wouldn't know how to do it, the only thing the script does is to add randoms sounds for each step you take, whether you crouch, walk or run, what you could do is to add a pause decrement to each sound so that it doesn't cut off. I have to do some testing on that matter if its fixed, but send me the video to understand better
Thanks
good
Keep 'em coming bro excellent work you've been doing!
