[REQUIRES "FIXED VANILLA MODELS"] [READ THE COMMENTS FOR CHANGELOG!] Replaces the PS6 Voin and Aztec models with custom-made ones while still keeping most if not all the Vanilla style to it.

DESCRIPTION
___________
NOTE: You MUST use this mod with "Fixed Vanilla Models", link here: Moddb.com
PS6 Voin & Aztec Overhaul. Don't think you can shorten this one.
If you never liked how the PS6 looks, which is some kind of weird leftover of HD Models with broken textures and bad smoothing, then this mod tries to improve it by using some proper third-party materials (gasmask) combined with the original vanilla materials.
This new PS6 itself is originally done by "Dynamic", she did all the mesh changes and setup, I've only made some fixes here and there, so all credits go to her.
The new Gasmask is the GP-21, made by "hussky9", all credits go to him.
The PS6 is now completely different from the original:
It's a "Proto-Exo" class, using torso of an Ecologist-variant Proto Exo, the Exoskeleton's Helmet and a brand new Gasmask never before seen in STALKER.
The torso also has many visible pouches.
It uses Carapace Plates on the Leggings and the Shoulder.
Metallic elbowpads, similar to the Exoskeleton's.
High-Top Boots, probably not too comfortable but very practical, especially in places like the Swamp.
For balance purposes, the PS6 has another "Armour Profile" for NPCs, which should make it be stronger than before, since it uses the same profile as the Proto-Exo with the Exoskeleton Helmet.
(The original would have had one-shot headshots)
For Factions: Duty, Mercenary

INSTALLATION
___________
(The mod was made with MO2 and BAIN in mind)
To install manually, simply extract the "gamedata" folder from "01 MAIN" to your game folder.
After that, you can install the addons if you want.
___________
ADDONS
___________
- OPAQUE VISORS. Makes the Gasmask's Visor opaque instead of transparent.
Matter of preference, but may also help a bit with those struggling for performance.

FEEDBACK/CONTACT
___________
For suggestions, it would be best if you first explain what should be done, and then why. Providing other information, such as screenshots, sources and the like is highly encouraged.
For bug reporting, it would be best if you provide a screenshot and if you can, the name of the object in question that has issues. This can be done with the Debug Menu, simply press F7 in-game while aiming at a model, then "Get Info" and screenshot that.
Also, explaining the issue in detail would be nice, if you know how, for example...It uses the wrong normal map, normal map is broken, specular is too high, texture is compressed badly, it has missing mipmaps, etc...

COPYRIGHT/LICENSE
___________
In short: MAKE SURE TO GIVE CREDIT TO THE AUTHORS, "Dynamic", "Blackgrowl" and "hussky9"! DO NOT SELL/COMMERCIALIZE IT IN ANY WAY! You can use this for your mods, it is meant to be a bit of a Modders' Resource itself.
You are allowed to use this mod on other STALKER games (This includes the original series and major mods like Dead Air) AS LONG AS you provide credit to the original author, Dynamic, Blackgrowl and hussky9, and you put a link to the original mod itself.
Taking textures from it is only allowed if you explicitly state that you are using FVM (PS6 Overhaul is related to FVM after all), put a link and credit the author (Dynamic, Blackgrowl, hussky9), nothing else needs to be done. Putting it on other mods, even if it's the whole pack (modpack), follows the same rule as stated before.
There is a very high chance that "conflicts" will happen, in which case, simply tell the client to acquire and load FVM last so FVM textures are used. FVM will always be inherently the latest, as long as you don't change the texture names.
You are absolutely not allowed to get any monetary or commercial gain from this. Besides, that breaks GSC's license, so you'd be facing a whole company instead.

CREDITS
___________
Credits to "Dynamic", the original author of the PS6 itself, she's the one that made the model per-se.
Credits to "hussky9" for making the GP-21.
Thanks to "Jurkonov" for information & feedback.
Big thanks goes to "Dux Fortis" for providing me with the material.

[CHANGELOG]
None yet.
[F.A.Q.]
- "Why is this mod separated from the main mod itself?"
For one perfect reason: FVM has a strict code against using third-party models of any kind. Even if it's good, it should not be part of FVM itself.
So with that in mind, I have it separated from the main mod itself.
- "Is this compatible with Duxmod, ****?"
Yes. Any conflicts are probably from the helmet textures, which you can easily ignore.
You might want to put PS6/Aztec Overhaul at the bottom of the load list.
- "What about the icons?"
Maybe Cr3pis or Maid are willing to make them.

u makeing new full pack with loners, merc, etc?
It's already done, called Fixed Vanilla Models: Moddb.com
Unless you mean if I'm working on another pack that does the same or more, nope, I have no plans for it either.
Love it! Thanks Strogglet, this is a nice addition to FVM/NO/LUV. I've edited my version of LUV to re-enable the Aztec model. For the PS6, Cr3pis already has an icon that matches your model's torso.
Fantastic, always nice to hear people change the mod (LUV in this case) themselves instead of asking the author to do it. Enjoy!
