Expands character voices of NPCs, adds more voices by same actors from various games, designed for DICK
This mod is a compilation of voiceovers from OG games (SoC, CS, CoP) various stalker mods (StalkerSoup, OGSR) and some other games (Metro 2033, etc).
The mod is designed to work with Dux's Innumerable Character Kit mod (https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/dick
The voiceovers were picked in a way to expand existing pack with new phrases by the same actors, to keep it in vibe with Stalker games. But some of the changes are bigger:
- Loners: newbie ranks stalkers received original newbie voices used in SoC, particularly in Rookie Village, which were unused in CS and CoP.
- Mercs: some mercs will have SoC voices that were unused in CS and CoP
- Monolith has a bit changed voiceovers, the lower rank monolith soldiers will use CoP phrases or vanilla Anomaly ones, while higher ranks will use SoC voices, which i found more aggressive and menacing
- Sin received completely new voiceover taken from AQVAS mod (Moddb.com. I unforunately dont know the origins of this pack, but i found rather interesting to be used here
- (OPTIONAL PATCH) UNISG received english voiceover. You have to enable it in MO2 to install it.
- Small fixes to camp scripts and possibility for NPCs to react to other's stories with same voice they have initially, provided there are enough phrases to say

Is this serious advice, or will it lead to some kind of disaster? I ask because I don't know much about modding, I just honestly wonder if reconciling this addon with HD models is possible

I think not. They weren't there in vanilla games
If the voices are from original stalker Voice Actors, then you are the god of modding, my man. I tried to do such revoice for Expanded Voiced Actor 2.1, but i still didn't finish, and this pack seems to be much bigger than the expanded voiced actor. And if it is actually firs the game - good job on that!
Voiced actor adds voicelines to the previously mute player character. This mod adds more voicelines to NPCs. Those are two completely different mods.
Are the campfire jokes restored? I'm pretty sure vanilla anomaly lacks them.

There are jokes in vanilla, just very rare. this mod makes them much more frequent

Any addon that at least in part contributes to the restoration of the atmosphere of the original "Shadow of Chernobyl" in "CoC" (or global mods based on it that I play) is always a delight on my part and respect! Thank you!
There was a real lack of voices and replicas of NPCs from the original first part of the series of games where diversity was all right (and this despite the fact that a lot of content was cut before the release).
Put your addon together with the NPC fire joke addon and it's almost perfect! And I was very glad to hear familiar remarks from NPCs in various situations.
It remains to wait for the add-ons that will return the ambient sounds from "Shadow of Chernobyl" (optionally also with the build ones), the sounds of anomalies, music and propaganda at the bases and other various little things (I know that there are add-ons for the sounds of the pda / inventory / steps of the actor and use them)

So to be sure i understood correctly, it's like for ****, only new NPCs spawning will have those new voices right?
I mean if i install it mid-playthrough i'll have to wait for new NPCs to hear those new voices.

Started as ISG character. Talking to Hernandez and listening to the same line "I'm a bad bad man.." over and over 20 times in a row from the dudes by the campfire... major yikes. I think ISG voice-overs need a bit of extra work.

Seems like a great mod, but does it also work with HD models mod (instead of Dux's character models)?
Will there ever be a standalone version ?
Mercs also should be english like ISG. Can you tell me if its a config file thing? or I can just copy the sound files to mercs? which is it.
