The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
Ever wish you could get rid of all the garbage Hip seems intent on collecting? Now you can. NOW 90% less cheaty by default. (Full cheaty ness can be enabled at users discretion, consult a priest before stealing items from your companions, author is not responsible for loss of fun or hair.)
It seems there are a few side effects with this addon installed, such as me being able to pick up corpses' PDAs and headlamps, and their equipment is at almost pristine condition most of the time. any way to stop corpses from showing their true inventory?
updated with a version you should be able to leave in.
THANK YOU, my god this inventory bug was the one thing keeping me away from playing RC18 again and now you've fixed it. Absolute legend.
My God, thank you - I can finally return to Anomaly and clean up my peeps' inventories. Thank you
Yes, it works, thanks. But like i said to you on Discord, it would be better with the possiblity in option to give more items to companions. On another note, i can't explain why we can actually give all our equiped stuff (for example a lot of heavy outfits over weight limitless companion) and not the non equiped items like ammo, repair tools...when companion is overweight, it is very strange...
in the future pls....we need a way to give them armor and kevlar plates/artifacts that they can equip. the only strat they know is to charge and they do so like a bunch of jelly fishes in cardboard armor lmao
but it works amazingly ty for the mod <3
That would require some major changes to how damage is calculated for NPCs. Could be done with a mod, would be better to be done in the engine tho.
hey mate can you upgrade this for RC22
does it not work?
ty
I just noticed a green bug, with some random characters in the companion inventory, is this important or something?
i have seen that too. i have no idea. i'd leave it alone just in case.
The game thinks that that is the "ammo" for the knife, its useless and can be sold for one rouble.

I tested in 1.5.1 but it does not seem to work as there is no difference and my follower still has no inventory but most taken up already with looted guns I can't prevent him from picking up. Does this have to be a new game?
Can be installed or removed at any time.
Works in my current game.
probably an installation issue. i recommend asking for help in the anomaly discord. If no one else can help you there you can even ping me.
I found the problem. When I clicked and dragged the 'gamedata' folder, for some reason the file never made it. I dragged the file itself over to the folder and confirmed it was there and it now works great.
Thanks a lot for this mod. It was annoying trying to save, fire follower, hope you can then trade with them, purchase all the bogus stuff, hire him back, then sell the bogus stuff to make up some of the loss from buying it back, then going out of game, activating the debug mode, going back in game, spawning free stuff and selling to vendor to make up for the remaining loss, then saving, leaving game, deactivating debug mode, and finally back in the game. However, I can't even do this if after firing, it does not offer trading.
Again.....THANKS for this addon.
This is great, thanks a lot! I must admit, I may sometimes be a little bit cheeki and sell the Tourist Safari Stalker's guns before they despawn for that little extra cash, heh!
You can also watch the inventory of the scientist when they are scanning the ground and the scanner appears as a green bug icon, which you can take for fun :)
There are ways to get the system that hides NPC gear to let you have their guns any way if they pick up a gun they like better, which sometimes can be a 5% condition bandit drop. The whole thing is a bit buggy which is why I made the trade UI ignore it.
at night you can see the NPC headlamps spawn in their inventory. player can't use them or sell them, but if you really want an infinite pile of junk they auto respawn as soon as you remove it.
it is fun to peek behind the curtain at times.

They still seem to pick up any weapons they come near, so this mod is still necessary imo.
Thanks, I got back my SR-3M suppressor that Hip stole))
Hi for New Zealand!
Apologies if this is a bit of a dumb question.
I cannot get your super essential mod to work? I am really not sure what I am doing wrong at all (I have dozens of mods installed and working) I dropped the two folders, config and scripts, into the correct place. Even checked the individual files were there to be sure. Also read the description a half dozen times and all the comments. From what I understand you access the unlocked inventory from the companion wheel right?
Any help appreciated!
current version does not show all hidden items by default. just items that NPCs pick up. to change that you need to modify the setting in MCM.
Moddb.com
I love you you are a legend! Thank you
Love the mod! Works Great! One question though. I noticed my companion's weapon durability goes down as they use it. Does everyone just maintain/change there weapon or just let it degrade?
Unless it is a very long playthru with the same companion i just ignore it.
Interesting idea for an addon tho: let companions use gun oil
Thanks for the mod! Great job!

Hi there, I'm the poster of the comment from Feb 20th. I've tried numerous times now to get this working but still no success. I clicked the dialogue line to give Hip a medkit and it then showed up with an orange box round it in her inventory which I don't recognise from before, so I presume this addon is installed correctly?
Despite this I still cannot view the weapons my companions are hoarding. I click 'take all' and the weight drops from 50 to 17kg, so there's still clearly a ton of **** being held but it doesn't appear for me. I'm trying both through the companion wheel as well as via the [give command] dialogue option.
I'd really like to get this working as my companions are stuck using 0% condition weapons, thanks!
I have the same issue. I know that Hip is carrying a bunch of broken rifles (they're on her corpse when she dies), but this addon won't let me remove them from her inventory. It does however let me remove medkits from her inventory after giving them to her through dialogue.
Edit: Nevermind, it's because the mod requires MCM in order to enable full access to a companion's inventory.
Only guns and items picked up by the NPC while they are a companion with this addon active will be shown by default, those will have the yellow marking.
Items hoarded before installing this addon will be considered to belong to the NPC by this addon. You need to enable a setting to show everything to show those.
Install MCM. Go to MCM settings for this addon turn on the option that lets you see everything.
This change was made because full access at all times was considered to be cheaty by many. Now it can be turned on only when needed to fix a problem.
How do you choose between the 2 options, and how do you instal?
Installs like any other addon.
Picking option requires MCM, or editing the script. make show_all true.
How to install, I use companion wheel and it is empty as before

does this work with 1.5.0? i cant play 1.5.1 because of major stutter issues
no. there are addons that do similar things for that version, but the UI changed so much that they do not work with 1.5.1 and this will not work with 1.5.0
thanks for the Mod, finally i can take the Railguns my Companions loved to collect finally i can have some Fun firefights again :D
Sadly with this Mod it breaks the "Companions don't die" mod which is quite sad :(
I use both
upgrade for 1.5.2?
does it not work with 1.5.2? I am curious I have to switch over soon.
It seems to be working. I didn't notice any errors.
Not needed.
Good day man, is it possible to make an adaptation for the Anomaly Desolation modification? Hip is an eternal problem, with an idiotic habit of picking up weapons from the ground. For some reason, this addon does not unlock the inventory and I cannot remove excess equipment from her inventory
By default this addon only shows items collected while in your service, excluding technical items like NPC headlamps.
To see EVERYTHING you need to change the setting in MCM. if you don't want to use MCM you can change the corresponding setting by editing the script.
I seem to have same problem as Aztec3037 right here, the addon isn't working bcos there's still items in hip's inventory that i can't access. How do i toggle b/w the 2 modes?
Edit: never mind, im dumb af, i just needed the MCM mod
For some wierd reason I installed the addon and it doesnt work for me. The only time my companion did show me its "true" inventory was after he died so thats not really acceptable for me. Am I doing anything wrong?
Unless you change the settings in the script or MCM all this addon shows by default is the things your companion picks up off the ground.
Please see any of the other ppl asking this exact same question.
is this compatible with update 1.5.2?
Yes
