Dev Update #5 - New demo and possible project revival.

Hello everyone !

4 years have passed since the last update. 2 years ago I cancelled the mod in favour to my other project. Later I announced that I was quitting doom modding and would release project data for 2 of my unfinished Doom projects - The Phantom of the Opera and Shadow over the Pathoras II. I released the stuff for POTO but decided to keep the SOTPII data because it was quite a lot to give away unassembled. The other project is now gone, so I decided to return to SOTP for one last time. I took a look into my archives and made a new demo as a form of experiment - more on that later.

The demo is based on the latest build assembled back in 2021 with some recent minor tweaks/bugfixes. It includes full intro and the whole first chapter. I was a bit worried about the compatibility with the latest versions of GZDoom, since the project uses mainly now discontinued DECORATE - ZSCRIPT was brand new at the time I started this project back in 2018 so I felt no need to use it. Luckily everything still works as intended, so no rewrites are required for the time being. In the previous update I announced that the game would have voice Iines - however only a small portion was done before the cancellation (and most of them weren´t that good), so for the demo I removed almost all of them - I left only one line and added AI voice as a replacement for the beginning of the intro.

Consider this demo as a form of survey - I don´t want to waste my time working on something that has no future. So, I would like to know if it´s still worth finishing. I would like if you give me a feedback if it´s worth reviving. If yes, I then I will try to release a finished fist half of the mod sometime in the future. Why only the first half ? Because that´s the part that more or less playable and beateable in the beta test before the cancellation. The second half is an unfinished mess with incomplete maps, missing scripts, requiring a lot of work to complete and polish. The first half is much more manageable and less time consuming. If the first half recieves good feedback as well, then I will finish the second half, merge it with the first one and release the full mod.
