Fantastic mod! Can't wait for more! I am South African too btw :)
I played about an hour of the current beta and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. As a South African, it is nice to see this almost forgotten war finally getting some form of attention in the modding community. As for my beta experience, it was outstanding.
The Ratel models are superb, and the distinct, high-pitched moan of the engine changing gears is very well done. Apart from that, the voice acting is also well done, and although Afrikaans isn't my first language, the dialogue was clear enough for even me to understand clearly. The weapons sounds are solid, and pack a sufficient "audio punch" if you will.
I had a minor issue with the aiming time for the rifles, while I understand that it is far more realistic, and I thus support it's implementation, it seems to have escaped the AI, as I had an Angolan officer kill me almost instantly, while my ADS animation was still underway. The jets also seem a bit too responsive, and I had a few embarrassing flight mishaps after underestimating the controls.
That's being said, I understand that this IS a beta after all, and so again I must reiterate, that this mod is superb. It has a lot of potential, G5's, G6's, Valkiri's, Elands, so many wonderful pieces of equipment to utilize. I am definitely keeping a close eye on this mod, and look forward to every update, and also the Olifant. God do I love the Olifant.
Just can't wait for this. It'd also be interesting to see UNITA. MPLA's arch enemy in this conflict.

Will you include the good old "Buccaneer" in the SAAF units?

NO this mod is not dead just very hard to focus on it lately
