Venom Mod is a general improvement of original Rtcw game, with a new challenging and aggressive AI and some exploitation of features of id tech 3 engine, keeping the original gameplay.
The textures look sharp and clear and the lighting is superb too. Great work as always, Hellbaron.
Thanks, it's a new texture pack made not by me, that I fixing and improving. Definitely will be merged in new V6.0.
I'm in the process of creating a new texture pack too, Baron. I tested it with your mod, but there are many conflicts between my pack and your creation.

You are using an old version of the mod, this isn't v5.5. Nice some camouflage on vehicles, some of the other textures looks cartoon style.. where's the conflict with Venom?
This isn't "Venom Mod" I'm using in conjunction with the HD textures, Baron, it's "ioRtCW".
I don't agree that my textures look "cartoon", but I guess we all have different tastes :).

I forgot to mention, the conflicts are with things like wallpaper and wood textures. Your textures sometimes override my ones.
Of course, because my shaders uses tga textures, already mapped for my effects, tga textures has priority on jpg format. If you are texturing you need to exclude totally Venom mod files.
Yes, that's a pity, because your weapons textures are top class. Here's what the game looks like when I use "ioRtCW" along with my HD pack and your "Venom Mod":
Nice! As I said, from what I see, it's a very old version of Venom Mod in this video (4.6 or 5.0?).. however with ioRtcw you can set properly widescreen settings, seta r_mode "-2", seta cg_fixedAspect "2" then vid_restart.

I mean "not made by me", sorry for mistake.. a part of ESRGAN pack I merged into v6.0, fixing all artifacts and making further new textures by myself.

It's not any older than version 5.0, Baron, but it's not the latest version, prior to the 6.0 release.
