Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
A rare sight in the European War it is unknown how many of these aircraft still remain or where they are deployed from. They are the primary targets of hotshot Russian Berkut aces that hound for these aircraft restlessly hoping to not only score a kill from one of the supposedly few remaining A400ms but also hoping to doing extended damage to European forces by destroying whatever it is transporting along with it.

In other news, the real 400m did make it's maiden flight a month back. Congrats to the guys who are making the plane.
You have to remember we try to emulate the exact same design principles as EA and mix real units with fictional units to make gameplay interesting and fun :)

Well technically, its a turboprop which is effectively a gas turbine with a conventional propeller attached to the front. So the plane derives its thrust from the blades of the propeller rather than the reaction produced by the hot exhaust gasses of a pure turbojet. This has several advantages such as more efficient low altitude flying, lower stall speeds and in the right conditions, better fuel consumption overall.

Well, glad to hear that! Btw, since China has recently unveiled its 5th generation stealth fighter, why don't you add this to game? And eliminate Chinese MiGs and may be give EU their Eurofighter Typhoons? Let the Europeans save/have few expensive Eurofighters at their disposal. What do you all think about this idea? Isn't it great? Because as I remember an idea of EU having Eurofighters was eliminated from early stage of thegame because of their triangle shape was identical to Chinese MiG 1.44.
