Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
Despite its cursed development history which was marred by overflowing costs and even a temporary cancellation in the early 2000s, the US Army's infamous Comanche project has eventually produced one of the most agile and heavily armed helicopter gunships in the world.
Swueet baby Jesus! That's one fine gunship, right there.
The comanche, now even sexier.
And, compared to C&C Generals' original model, more accurate to the real thing too.
Yep, I wonder what the stealthed version is going to look like.
Uh... like stealthed?
I'm guessing this is the stealth version.
uh im guessing that this is the helicopter before the rocket pods upgrade has been purchased, have you played the mod?
Not what I meant; you know in Shockwave there was clear visual differences between the king comanche and the regular comanche such as the colour of the rotor blades? I was simply wondering of the stealthed version of this aircraft was going to have any aesthetically differences other than the cloaking field.
well that is how a comanche would look like during it's stealth mode...
the reason why it's payload is hidden inside it is to increase its stealth capability...
and there is no such thing as cloaking field being used by aircrafts.
well true but its only to show off the stealth mode of the helicopter it can still be seen by base defenses when it gets close enough
I suspect you don't understand how stealth works.
Note: Lazarus shield (sadly) don't exist in real life, the transparency unseen stealth units get is merely symbolic.
And from what I understand (and notice playing the game), base defences mostly don't detect stealth now. Only specialised units and buildings.
Which is kind of nice if you're in the middle of a nasty ECA vs ECA skirmish and the computer put a Solaris relay on the very edge of its base.
you know i do know how stealth works i just didn't know tht they changed that for rise of the reds
LMFAO
