Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
Title says it all.. these older capital ships will find themselves once again doing battle.
Republic at War 1.3 Content
Very interesting. I like the idea of older ships coming out of mothballs. It's only makes sense that there would be a lag from when the ship is retired to when it's stricken from the Republic Naval Registry. Especially if it's one of the larger more powerful ships.
The 4 Iowa Class Battleships didn't get struck from the US Naval Registry until recently, even though they were put in mothball in 1992. They were too powerful to dismiss too easily.
I could easily imagine these Invincible Class Dreadnoughts to have some decent firepower, despite being outdated.
Sword will kill any man, no matter its very obsolete.
I see where you're coming from, although there is a small but significant distinction to be made between a sword and a multi-kilometre long warship...
Would love the hammerheads in game to rival lurchelk

"A man once said [The pen is mightier than the sword], he never met automatic weapons"
I hope its close to "Invincable" because CIS is OP.

Can i just point out the Iowas are useless in modern combat?
Just a thought.
Would these ships suffer similar penalties, for example not being equipped for new tactics which ships use?
I like the name. Very menacing.
It's interesting to see him in action.
The image for the Invincible-class on Wookieepedia always made the ship look like crap, but this looks awesome. Is it a Warb model?
It was a bit of a chalenge turning those crappy pictures in a nice model but I'm verry happy with the result.
Looks awesome mate! Nice job!
Yes... we have some other things finished we will be showing off shortly as well.
Love the design. Great work.
Never mind answered my own question
diz iz lan u net 2?
Hopefully, this shall be what we need to keep the CIS at bay while we try to tech-up to Venators. Acclamators just don't do the trick against a immense CIS fleet no matter the superior tactics.
I love the fact that in RAW we fight just like how Obi-Wan described it "It seems we can win every battle, but still lose the war." or something similar.
That was Plo Koon...
But same voice actor James Arnold Taylor :).
so it this going to be larger but not as powerfull as the more modern venator and imperial class star destroyers?
Something along those lines.
will the guns have been updated at all because it was brought back? or are we thinking some new special attacks here?
One of the words in the picture says "***" under the last part of dreadnaught in Aurebesh. lol
Can't wait to blow it up.
honestly it's about time someone made a REAL Invincible Dreadnaught, great work team!
how big is this compared to a venator?
Its bigger.. the Venator is 1137 Meters while this is 2011 meters. So it will be almost double the size of the Venator or Providence.
Love how the Munificent frigate is just as big as a Providence but gets powned so easily...
Is this from the Alsakan conflicts?
omg im so excited 2 new capital ships wooo hooo!
Can't wait to see this thing in action
