They have long stayed dormant. The Giant Ants have returned and are now wreaking havoc against those who tried to elminate them. ~ This Infantry is only available through the Tib-X Missile Support Power
The Visceroid is a byproduct of a chemical reaction released from the specially named "Tiberium-X" Mixture developed by Yuri's Cabalists. Victims of Tiberium-X are literally melted down into a almost lifeless mutation which is composed mostly of muscular mass and body tissue. The only release from this fate worse than death is through extermination of the victim. Visceroids are ill-armored being just mostly a fleshy blob. But are encountered in large numbers as the Chemical Missile will most likely have been fired at areas with large concentrations of organic life.
Tiberium in RA2? Its getting interesting...
Well the Allies do have a Faction called (Global) Defense Initiative. And Yuri has a faction called the Cabal Order (Which is loosely based on Cabal with shades of Ordos. Such as their Representative for Yuri's Alliance as being an expy of the Executrix from Emperor. :P
Wow, Dune too)
My favorite thing in C&C2TS was using that Tiberium Missile. I hope it is still mostly the same: unleashes corrosive clouds that float inside enemy base and damage stuff, and those clouds create Visceroids that continue your party.
Or hitting a blob of infantry in base, thats gonna create havoc..
AFAIK Chemical Missile usually kills most of infantry on impact before clouds are released, so it's better to aim close to the blob, not it itself - so clouds will float to the blob... result: "The fun has been doubled" as those clouds also damage buildings.
Reason why I hate fighting against Nod in C&C2.
Whenever I see the word Visceroid... Painful memories rush to my head...
I know that feel, man. I know that feel.
