Disc Throwers are Grenadiers fitted with new experimental Sonic Grenades developed from research from Rogue Allied Strategy Center. Based upon the sonic amplification weapons from the Dolphins and Disruptor Tanks in our Arsenal. Much like the latter the explosion caused by these grenades render affected targets susceptible to enemy fire and weakening them as well. Caution must be taken though as these Soldiers are also vulnerable to detonating their own discs should they perish.
