Welcome to Red Alert 20XX. The aim of this mod is to pay tribute to old Command & Conquer games, while giving YR a fresh feel in a brand new cold war context.
The Foxteam Special Commando unit is the USA's new Sniper replacement for 1.0.5. It is equipped with a highly modular sniper rifle that can switch from regular bullets to armor piercing ones. Therefore, the Foxteam will use a regular sniper armament when moving, but will switch to armor piercing bullets when ordered to deploy. Doing so will give it slightly more range, but more importantly, it will allow it to kill vehicle driver, leaving it without a crew and up for the taking by anyone ordering an infantry to take it. However, the Foxteam is limited in anti-tank bullet and can only carry 3 at a time. Plus, it takes 1 minute to recharge one of those bullets.

It looks like a hero unit despite of its unique ability.
There's not really hero unit in RA20XX, but it could be considered a late Tier unit.
Oh, I understand pretty well. Maybe, it's like an elite special forces unit that has a similar role to the Commando from Tiberium Dawn aka the first Command & Conquer.
