Inspired by current invents, the Rebels vs Regime: An Arab Spring mod brings a politically aware high action RTS total modification. The goal of the developer is to create a game that gives the player a fun experience while also presenting some political satire and commentary about the current civil wars and uprisings in the "Arab Spring". Personally I was inspired by the Mid East Crisis modification and the lack of current material touching on this subject. More information on this project is sure to come soon.

I am Syrian and I think this mod will basically be based upon the Syrian crisis amongst the Arab Spring countries (The most military embroiled case). I hope this mod will depict the situation objectively and not be biased as to directing the fore-mentioned satire to both parties.
I plan to be fair to both sides, however I will be sure not to be biased.
a mod like this in an engine like RA3 is not appropriate and good,best games to make this kind of mods is games with realism and historical accuracy like ArmA.
Arma isn't a real time strategy game, which is what I envsion this mod to be.
U cud always mod it into generals which probably has the best tools for what you are trying to achieve

I don't believe it's a good idea to develop a mod that's taking place in a war that's still ongoing.

a little satire it does not hurt. red alert 1 was a satire of the communist regime no? so why not the Middle East
