Realms of the Third Age is a total conversion of warband to Lord of the Rings. RotTA (Realms of the Third Age) will be a PvP/Coop mod and is set during the War of the Ring era. The Coop aspect of the mod is invasion. In this mode, you will be able to fight off waves of troops. The plans of this are to add every faction.

Why am I doing this mod?
Well we all have played numerous Single Player mods. Which are all fun and enjoyable. Just I personally like MP and would love to see a LOTR mp mod. This mod will see movie like armours/weapons etc. and some other things.
We Also now have our own wiki page about the mod! It gives you idea how classes are for each faction etc.. Enjoy

We have an announcement to make.
We are starting of from scratch, we used most of the stuff from Full Invasion 2 but we decided not to as how awesome Full Invasion 2 really is, the stuff qualified that it can be a mess as some stuff are just messed up together. This made us rethink and we came to decision to redo everything from scratch.
We are sorry for those who have hoped to see this mod release really soon, but don't worry, it will be faster than before as we start up really clean and fresh, and expect to see even more awesome new stuff in images :)
For those who think this mod died the answer is easily no, we just took one week break and now we start with an iron fist!
Invasion Mode might get removed as return but don't worry, we have heard rumours and facts that there is going to be a LOTR only Invasion mod for those who like to do that. But Full Invasion 2 is not a bad choice, it is an awesome mod and still has excellent diversity of factions that no mod has.

I really do not see the point of a MP mod, They all get played for a month then die, a massive waste of content in my opinion.
Thus is why you need clans to play with.. I thought about working on a vanilla replacement mod like GK servers etc...
The problem is there are too many mods of the same type being created and a lot of them are incomplete as it takes the mod devs a lot of time and effort to make these brilliant mods. If all of the mod teams were consolidated into one team imagine how much they could accomplish for example there are....
6 Lord Of the Rings mods
11 Roman mods (RaW2 300bc and Bellum_Imperii 161AD are by far the best)
5 Game of thrones mods
4+ (maybe 6) Europe around 1200AD mods
3+ Anglo-Saxon England mods (I have not checked thoroughly) Brytenwalda Repolished is amazing
Now imagine just consolidating all of the hours work into just a few mods imagine the greatness that could be accomplished.

Those who are still waiting for the mod, please don't drop your hopes up, once Bannerlord releases we shall transfer the mod to there, Warband got a bit too old in our idea and since the release seems to be this year it would be an error if we released the mod only to see the game released few months later :)
