Republic Assault is a full scale conversion mod for the Petroglyphy game Star Wars Forces of Corruption. Using elements from both the current canon, and existing EU to create the best possible game experience.
The All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST), also known as a Scout Transport, Scout Walker, or derisively as a chicken walker, was a lightweight, bipedal walker used by the ground forces of the Galactic Empire.
As of now, the plan is for the AT-ST to be equipped similarly to the Battlefront 2015 AT-ST. With dual chin mount blasters, a rocker launcher, and a concussion grenade launcher. The later of the two are likely to be abilities
Also, the Gozanti will be the transport unit for many of the Empire's mechanized units (Light vehicles like the Mauler, if that's even added, will likely go by something else). This will also include a special drop animation, similar to the Rebels show.
And yes Sly, I still intend for there to be a buildable combat variant.
Credits (AT-ST):
Free Radical for the AT-ST
Jedi_Clone_X2 for the extraction
Sergeant Barlex for the port and rig
Credits (Gozanti AT-ST Carrier):
Arvis for the Gozanti
Free Radical for the AT-ST
Jedi_Clone_X2 for the AT-ST extraction
Sergeant Barlex for the port, rig
These look good, will they be visible in space on the Gozantis?
Ya'know, if you modify the Free Radical AT-AT a bit, you could end up with AT-ATs similar to what was deployed on Jabiim. You could lock them out later on to show the Republic wasn't very interested in impractical military designs.
Technically, yes. But you're more likely to have them on board some kind of cruiser during space combat.
As for the AT-AT, that's actually what I was planning on doing. Not sure about locking them out though, maybe a special build once you take Jabim.
Fair enough.
Very neat idea (The AT-STs from the Gozantis and the early AT-AT's if you capture Jabiim). I think it would be cool if you lost the ability to build them if you lost Jabiim. Since the failure around that planet made them give up on the design, though through no fault of the walkers.
Looking good, keep it coming.
