Quiet Rehabilitation brings a different story of Gordon Freeman being taken prisoner directly to Nova Prospekt. In this alternate route, without meeting Barney, he must find a way to escape from this old facility heavily guarded by Combine forces and surrounded by unusual creatures.
This demo showcase an example of dynamic combat if the player decides to go stealth or not against the Combine when they are on the look out for Gordon. If the player shoots the CPs, they will call for reinforcements and plan to ambush the player to their next encounter. A simple if, the logic_relay will trigger a new Combine squad to attack the player in the next area he goes.
