Project 13 (name might change) is an HL2 I plan on doing over the years. It's based on a feeling I have since my childhood, of a part of reality that broke, and remains stagnant in time, and infinite. Since I believe I will eventually get to work on it more seriously, I'm not telling much details, but this Mod is not like many others. It won't focus much on gameplay or that what most Mod want. It is partially an experiment with mapping, and an work of art. It's meant to transpose, which I believe is very unique, these dream-like feelings and concepts. Like I said, it's a long term project, and it'll be as big as my imagination can run. For those who expect it for some reason, be sure it'll be something really different from the ordinary. Multiple references are: - Mysteries of HL2 - Dark City - Brazil - De Chirico paintings - Stalker: SoC - Tarkovski's STALKER - Some surrealistic artists - Other stuff I don't quite remember.

Nice, I haven't seen something like this in a while. There aren't many mods (or games, either) that include surrealism like this.

Wow, I like your style. Most source mods seem to suffer from 'HL2 genericitus' I like how you're trying (and succeeding) in getting away from that even at this early stage.
Yep,hl 2 generictus is when somebody makes a multiplayer mod.
Ok, the description is good enough, and I agree, too many things are ruined by what is already described. When you make this mod, is it going to be very much the 'bumped along' type mod? Such as not many puzzles, just a sort of... atmospheric game?
Oh and... THIS BETTER NOT BE ANOTHER STUPID ZOMBIE MOD. (though I doubt that lol)
Well, if I had to say how it'll be, the priority order would be this.
1. Atmosphere/Story
2. Puzzles/Exploration
3. Actual FPS stuff*
As an note for number 3, no, there WON'T be zombies, nor Combine. The VERY few enemies that you'll find around will be there mainly to add some difficulty and tension to the situation (as they fit in the story)...Life as we know don't really belong in that place.
