GLA's current radar vehicles are hardly different from what they used in the last war- they still put together modified second-hand parts and civilian equipment onto a ubiquitous van to build their own radar vehicle. However, when compared to the past, these vehicles suffer from such extreme scarcity of capable electronic devices, that these vehicles are capable of locating targets only when they are connected to the command center's central data base.
But in the long-term conflict, some improvements were seen on those vehicles. A talented warlord of GLA successfully miniaturized GPS scrambler and installed them on these vehicles, enabling them to cloak units without the support of command center, which was quickly adopted by numerous GLA warlord. Other reports say GLA forces have other radar platforms – but that's no surprise because GLA itself is famous for its expertise on unconventional warfare.
