Couldn't find a mod that would let you play as Greece in Vanilla Empire Total War? There it is! This mod simply adds Greece to the roster of playable factions in the Grand Campaign. Controlling Greece and Morea in 1700, it is up to you restore Greece's glory.

This mod finally allows you to play as Greece in Empire Total War in the Grand Campaign. Take control of the Hellenic Kingdom and assert your dominance over your neighbours, or establish your empire far far away, your choice!
Faction selection screen
Starting position
As Greece, you start out with 2 regions: Greece and Morea. At the start of the game, Greece has no artillery school, a level 1 barracks, a level 1 adminstrative building, a level 1 entertainment building and a leve1 industrial building and a basic farm. It also has a basic trading port.
For its part, Morea has a level 1 administrative building, a farm, a level 1 industrial building and a level 1 vineyard.
Diplomacy
Greece starts out with no ally nor enemy, and no historical bonus/malus with any other faction
Objectives
The objectives, no matter what campaign length you choose, mainly feature regions that used to belong ot the Byzantine Empire.
Short campaign (from 1700 to 1750):

Hello, I have to thank you for your work, it's a great job. Finding a mod with an emerging country that is available in 1700 is a superhuman task. Thank you very much.
I would also like to ask you if you would be able to create a Bohemia or Czech lands mod. There would definitely be people who would appreciate your work, playing for a country in the middle of Europe would be really fun. Thank you.

What bothered me in this mod however is that Greece was not a playable faction, at least in 1700, hence I decided to make it playable myself
Concerning the Bohemian faction, as much as I would love to see it exist, I'm not sure if I have the ability to add a brand new faction to the game by myself (since Bohemia doesn't exist as an emergent faction). I already tried to look into how creating a whole new faction in ETW, but I never managed to get very far. I will see what I can do about it but sadly I can't promise anything

Is it possible to get greek voices for the faction?
Sadly, there are no Greek voice lines in the original game, the Greek faction has Turkish voice lines. To get Greek lines, one would need to record them entirely from scratch, and despite being interested in Greek culture and history, I don't speak a word of Greek. Even if I did or did have a contact that could provide me with good quality voice lines, implementing them in the mod would require some extra work I didn't really intend to perform. It may change in the future but right now it's not part of my plans, my apologies.
