This is a TSLRCM-required mod that allows the player to recruit both the Handmaiden and Disciple in the same playthrough, regardless of gender. It also fixes any gender-specific dialogue when it involves those two characters.
It adds an item to the inventory when you pick up the Disciple, which allows you to 'swap' the Handmaiden in and out of the party, when available.
This mod is finally making its debut on ModDB! Don't worry DS, I'm not going anywhere.
