Hi, guys!
I'm still alive, I'm fine. I'm working on new animations for Morgenstern. Skeletal animation (.IQM format) has been added to GZDoom, now the models will be more detailed, and the movements will be smoother and more correct. Now the direction of attack depends on the direction of the player's movement (as in KIlling Floor 2).
As soon as I finish this whole process, I will post a video here.

Good to know you are still around, as much as I been keeping an eye on this mod in particular.
Also, maybe a silly question, is this image supposed to be a GIF or something because that 'Working on new animations for Morgenstern' image does not look very animated.

Of course, watch this video. I planned to publish it later in the article, but that's okay. Initially, the animations may seem too fast for you. There, at the end of the video, I turned on the test slow mo, you can see the movements better

Such a shame that the weapon animations are so quick because they are hard to see this way. Glad you added slow mo footage. That said, how awesome everything looks. The textures, the npc models, and ofcourse the weapons, hands and all the animations.
By the way, how do you make those animations???? Would LOVE to see a video of that, would that be possible???

Actually these are not my animations. This is from Killing Floor 2. I was just doing a retarget. It's easier than making animations from scratch, although it's still very time consuming. These animations look so good because they are recorded at 200 FPS via Motion Capture.

Ok, i understand. Played Killing Floor 2 for a bit and although it has a SP mode (play only SP, not MP) I found the game to hectic and not very enjoyable. Still, there animations are top notch for sure so I can understand that you want to use them. AM a mapper myself but for many, many years I want to look in to rigging and animating stuff. Seems like big fun!
