Hey Jerry, just played it, recorded a longplay of it for youtube, and voted here accordingly: Loved it! I am actually overjoyed there's been a new mod done in 2023! That's almost half a century after the game's original release, and probably a few years since the last big singleplayer mod, sure glad Kingpin keeps going. Loved every moment of it, except maybe that's where the biggest issue lies: there aren't enough moments! :D I certainly wish for more, some content addition, whatever I can get. Will of course look out for anything new in the Kingpin modding scene, and from you, Jerry. Big shoutout to the boys at Kingpin.info, without their news posted about the mod, I wouldn't have seen it, and now played it! Very good mod, need to see more. Be it something added to Orbital Sanctum, or some entirely new thing!
Cheers, ErmacgerdLongplays
Amazing work. I finished this mod in about an hour (or maybe slightly more?). The levels are distinctive and colorful. I don't think I have a clear map favorite, it could be Bermuda or the Casino just because I remember them a day later; I also liked the final "palace" style levels.
The mod feels like a legendary mission pack from back in the day, like a rare CD release from an indie studio, but with a more modern design approach. Most importantly, I never got stuck, and I always knew where to go next (even if I had to go back to the previous level). So it was clear enough. Some games or mission packs designed back in the day were really frustrating in this regard.
The mod does have a lot of retro elements, approximately Q1 style, such as pushing as many of these (typically green) buttons as possible and looking for keys to open doors. And it doesn't lose the Kingpin backstory/design elements, which is mind-blowing.
I died once...in the beginning near the ship, I thought there could be a secret down there!
I am wondering now how co-op would work with this, with like 2-4 people!

I had the pleasure of playtesting this mod and helping out a bit with design ideas. I can confirm this is one of the best Kingpin mods, perhaps only behind Barren Meadow due to length. Jerry has consistently given us some good quality mods of obscure games, starting with Chasm The Rift and now Kingpin. Highly recommend his expansion for Chasm if you haven't played it. 2 days until release. Looking forward to it.
Sci-Fi Kingpin? That's a first!
