The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

The green looks a bit too simple - I mean, we have good enough PCs now to handle a nice green w_ model, no? :P . I like the metal's textures, they are really opposing force like! :D

Hahaha, we're not going to add rust all over the gun to say it's detail. It's green and simple, like a sniper should be.

Well, I kind of agree with lack of rust, but since this is 6 months after the 7 hour war, it would make sense for it to be a little bit worn out. Unless you start off the game with it.

You guys find flaws in everything, which is good, except this time. The green shouldn't be worn out, the Phoenix are experienced soldiers, they do take care of their guns.

For who complained about the worn-out metal plate: bear in mind that in real life that IS NOT made of metal. It's made of a comforting material instead, because it can be used as a cheek rest. We just made it metal because it fits the Half-Life world a bit more.

Then why isn't the green worn out? Because that's the original body of the gun. It's not a modification like that metal cheek rest. Not only that, but the Phoenix would take care of it.

And yeah Phenixtri, we forgot to add the bipod. Thanks for pointing that out.

This world model IS final (we're just going to add a bipod and that's it). Deal with it, that's how we want the gun to look like, it's Half-Life. Guns have their own personalities, guns look cool, guns do not look generic, worn out or rusty in the world of Half-Life. The only exception is the HL2 Crossbow, but then, the rust is what makes up its "rebel" personality.

(buried)

You hear that guys? You can't have a nice new rifle because it looks too plain. Add some rust. =\

That aside, the gun is perfect.

Naw don;t need rust, maybe a little wear and some rubbed off paint, if a soldier let a snipah get rusty he'd be beaten to death or something o.O

honestly the colour looks fine but depending on where you find it a neat idea would be to make the model with the signature kill markings but if its found say in a weapon crate then i say it looks fine.

Definitely needs at least a little wear on the green, or at least some grip tape. Something to break up the color.

The metal is too light, it needs to be darker. Also, why are the metal parts showing signs of wear but the rest looks completely plain? The textures are giving it a low-quality look.

No please no rust any self respecting marksman will always put maintenance & care of his weapon b4 him self or any one else for that mater. Also were are the bipod? The sling is also missing.

here are some reference pics to better illustrate what im referring to.
