The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

I have always wondered why there are sprinklers in subs.
Uh, in case there is a fire, like anywhere else? The water from sprinklers most of the time evaporate, and the water that's left isn't enough to put weight on the submarine.

PURE AWESOME.
The water adds to the fear factor because you can't see what is underneath it. I think it would be really cool if you could add an amphibious headcrab with big fangs or something like that and place a load of them in the water to really suprise the player. You could also add some pools of quicksand in there as well, if possible.

Uber awesome. And now I'm rethinking the furniture - the rebels (who I'm assuming where here), probably took anything they could.
Yeah, it was stripped down. However, they didn't bother to get anywhere near the inside. Last time a rebel got there, he didn't come back. Nobody knows what's inside the sub, and Shephard will be the first to get in the untouched interior of it.
I could have sworn a few days ago this thing was all one texture people commented and now it has been changed. Wow this developement team is actually listening to users. keep up the good work cant wait to play the game.
Reminds me of the part in BFBC2 where you are in an abandoned submarine, only this time, the sub looks even better!

AWESOME! I don't know what role it will play, but it looks a lot like the submarine wreck that was cut from half life 2. Would it be possible to experiment with how it looks? Using pictures of nuclear sub wrecks as guides?
