Operation: Firestorm is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. This mod currently features 8 unique playable Generals each with a huge arsenal of new units, buildings and special powers ar their disposal. While the core gamplay stays the same, a number of interesting new gameplay mechanics are added. In addition the overall visual quality is greaty improved, including new models, textures, FX and an improved User-Interface, available in full-HD resolution.
All Hero units have received a rework in Operation:Firestorm.
To start off, here's a preview of the USA General's Hero units. All variants of Colonel Burton are equipped with unique weapons.
In addition to their vZH abilites (Knife, C4), each variant has a number of unique tricks up his sleeve.
How about different heroes for each general? For Airforce General Colonnel Burton is OK, Tanya Adams (Red Alert) for High Tech (with 2 Laser pistols) and for SOCOM General... maybe you can make an easter egg of Rambo or some other famous movie character?

Maybe give them different cool surnames/nicknames instead of making them a single colonel but, uhhh, with different loadout?
i like the differences put into each faction. as for the hero, it does not need necessarily be colonel burton for each faction, but still it needs to retain a bit of realism. i mean to put tanya in generals is a bit off, besides tanya does not seem to be a real person. she was very much buffed in red alert for the sake of fun.
If only the non-SOCOM Burton variants could use the knife the way SOCOM Burton does, without the need to click on each infantry individually, that'd be very handy
It's not possible to combine a manual attack ability and a weapon switch in one unit.

All the abilities suit their factions and give their Burtons awesome utility, great job.
seem like nice design! can't wait to see what other factions get, especially hope Lotus to become somewhat "more offensive".
To all those asking for different heroes as opposed to having just burton, do keep in mind that:
A. New heroes would require new hero detection alerts. Also the way they are tied to each hero is hardcoded, so even if we somehow find a way to mimic the current XO voices and make new alert voices for the new heroes, there's no way to add them to those heroes. Same with custom alert sounds for the new superweapons.
and B. Each new hero would require it's own cameo, model, texture, animations, and voices (in both english and german), which is a ton of work for just for the sake of a "uniqueness".
This is why almost all mods don't replace the original 3 heroes, it's change is not as intuitive as ya'll are making it out to be.

Hi-tech Burton looks as if he's carrying a nerf gun. I would laugh at him even tho he would shoot me dead.
i love the SOCOM General in test version, maybe the burton are a bit underpowred, but they compenstate it by adding Delta Force operator that literally could cut through anything, and the fun thing is you can made 5 of them.
Socom Burton is good at supporting infantry squads, all his heals and buggy for free are adding some survivability
also he is like one-man baracks/tunnel network, let him behind your base, and here we are, a lot of hard-to-kill infantry in your backyard:)
