Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

i think the normal map on the headcrab/bubbles/ribs is slightly too strong and too grainy. it makes the headcrab look is if it was rusty ;)
I kinda like the bubbles and the rusty look myself- some kind of visual cue that this crab has started to seriously fuse with its host body!
I think what it really needs IMO is for its ribcage to be teeth ;)
Its just dirt on the headcrab, he's the one that forgot to bathe that morning.

On the original the beast had it ribcage open and the ribcage would also move like a mouth, that is also where the thing got it's acid from, it would also pull up flesh and meat from it's victim into it's chest cavity like he digested it there or to store it for later. good work, don't like the green bubble on headcrab.
